The Cascata Experience

You say anything to him or lower ur tip?
His tip was reflective of his service. He fanned it out and asked if my partner had the rest. That was disappointing as well. The experince was still great just ran into a caddie that acted bigger than he was.

I'll tell you, we still had a blast. His tip reflected how he performed. I pulled him a side at one point and asked him to make sure he was taking caRe of my partner. He was very frustrated with his entire persona

Sorry to hear about the Loop issues Freddie. That place looks stunning and I appreciate you sharing. The Cascata hats look really sharp man!

Love the lids and the level of service that Ceasars afforded us. It was first class all day.

Yesterday the group in front of us played very slow. And the caddie told them they should let us play through. He was greater with 'eff that, we paid to play'. I say this because the attention is paid to the guest and the caddies are aware when their loop is slow.

Our caddie just complained that other caddies would let us play thru and that he would. I don't get down with one person blasting another to look better, especially when you're falling short.

But I would recommend this course to anyone. It's was a real treat and I'm forever grateful to Ceasars for taking care of us.

How hard is it to get on there anyway? Kind of exclusive?

Yes it's exclusive but unattainable. We used a contact in the Ceasars front office. Others that I spoke with used their casino host.

Wow..sorry to hear that your caddie was that ignorant. Sounds like you were still able to enjoy it!

He did not ruin my time, at all.

Sorry the caddie was a punk. Hope you mentioned his behavior to your Caesar contact. This is unacceptable.

Thanks for this Freddie. Looks amazing and glad you guys had a good time despite the caddie

Fantastic photos, Freddie.
Stinks about the caddie. Glad you still had a good time.
May want to mention it to your Caesar's connection.
I just love desert courses, Vegas has some beautiful ones!

Thanks for the pics Freddie. I really want to play there sometime. Need to see if my host can pull any strings:)

Awesome looking course Freddie!
Sorry the caddy experience wasn't better, but sounds like you tried, and handled it perfectly.

Great pictures!

? Thank you Freddie for all the pics and updates. Glad you had a good time minus the dbag caddie.

Dude, soak it all up. The waterfall, range and the bar. They make great cocktails. Hopefully you'll
have a solid caddy.

I'm staying at Caesars and surprisingly the golf concierge told me my best bet was to Uber??? Yeah that seems a bit odd. You had limo service, right?

Yeah dude, it's not a short ride. We had a limo both days. Setup by concierge, weird. Maybe it's cheap!!

I'm going to ask for sure. At least a town car or Escalade if anything.

I gotta think that would be the better option.

Finally back in town after a weekend in Vegas. Freddie did a great job describing this golf course and I'll share my thoughts, too.

About 30 minutes from the Vegas strip, Cascata is the #2 Nevada golf course in Boulder City. Once you enter the gates and drive up the mountain to the clubhouse, you're greeted by the club pro, caddy Mac and locker room attendant. The inside of the clubhouse is very nice and there's a creek in the lobby that runs thru the clubhouse. Locker room was sweet and I had a locker with my name on it.

Off to the range to meet up with Mac and my fellow golfers. Two guys from Dallas in town for a bachelor party so plenty to talk about on the course. Mac seemed like a good dude and I started getting that buddy talk that Freddie mentioned in this thread lol. He gave me really good reads on the course so I didn't mind.

First hole was a short par 4 and I hit 3W, pitching wedge and 2 putts for par. This course does not require you to hit driver on every par 4 with the elevation changes and that helped my score. I was hitting greens and made 3 birdies on the front 9. Mac's reads really helped and playing with a scratch and 3 handicap elevated my game. I kept it simple and conservative on the back 9. It really isn't a difficult golf course so long as you keep your ball in front of you. Mac did a good job giving us lines off the tee and Fairway. Post round beers, souvenirs and we took an Uber back to the strip.

I played my best round of the year and really enjoyed this golf course. Definitely be back someday. 38/41, 79.

Here's a few pics from the clubhouse, range and front 9 (my phone ran out of battery!!) Almost went Happy Gilmore on the 3rd hole lol.
