Best on the beach in my opinion. We are not far from there and I grew up in that area.
 
This will be happening in the next few days.
 
Since I will be is Port St. Lucie next week I will be eating at least one of these while there.

Thanks for the recommendation. Made it to Guppy's this weekend. I had the lobster bisque with the grilled grouper sandwich. My wife had the grouper tacos. Service was great. Thanks again!

Good not great. I have not been there in a while, but its decent.
My favorite as of late has been Sea Sea Riders in downtown Dunedin. I just love their downtown area and that place is solid.

We had not been to this place, but love the downtown Dunedin area. There are about 25 restaurants that are all different and all good.
This was a darn good sandwich.
 
That does look rather tasty, it looks like Chic Fila made a grouper sandwich.

The best Grouper Sandwich I ever had was in the Sand Bar Restaurant in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

Bun was definitely buttered and similar. Fish was darn good. Very cool place

I missed this traveling. There are other good spots in Venice too.
For great wings, go to Bogey's.
Another grouper sandwich place is Cedar Reef Fish Camp
 
We're hitting cedar ref tonight. Bogeys sounds fun too.

Two things to look at at cedar reef.
Their smoked fish spread is awesome. Especially with a few drops of hot sauce.
Their crab dip is awesome too. Its crab and shrimp and really really good.
Their grouper sandwich done fried is solid. If you are looking for something a tiny bit different, ask them to do it buffalo style. They fry it up and then roll it in some solid wing sauce. Really good stuff.
 
Love me some Grouper!! was my favorite fish until I tried cobia.. my blackened grouper was legitimately bested.. it is an absolute must try for any grouper fan!!
