Tough call. Does the new one pay more? Then you could job hunt from a higher paying job with a bigger title.

That I don't know. It might be a lateral move but I do know right now we are frozen with pay raises and all that good stuff so it's possible that the answer is no. The more I think about it the less attractive it becomes, but I'm still unsure.

Go home tonight and make a list of pros and cons. It helps to have it written in B&W at times.

Another question, Bogey--assuming they hire inhouse, who else is likely and would it kill you if that person got it instead of you?

Let's just say this job isn't one that there will be a line of people wanting it. If someone else got it over me I wouldn't throw myself off a bridge. If I got the job great, if not then no biggie.

Okay, I found a couple of web sites that will tell you your Bond Girl name (don't have them here, just google "bond girl name generator."). I got Regina Randy and Honey Ryder. I like Honey Ryder better.

Mine is Amish Spott.....sounds like you won't see me getting out of the ocean onto the beach but you'll see me coming out of a barn covered in hay

One site gave me Dr. Holly Feelgood and another was Lupe Loinz. As a Bond girl spy I figured it was a good idea to have two names. :D

That would be you--our Amish Bond Girl.

Hey, the WSJ had an article last week on Amish romance novels.

This is making Honey Ryder look like a pretty good deal.

Mine came up as "Faren Hite" and another one was " Raven McCox".

Ok - I understand Claire wanting to be a Bond girl, but would one of you guys please tell me about your secret fantasy? Is it Connery, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan or Craig that strikes your fancy?

I am a bit of a Bond freak, have all the movies on VHS as well as DVD. Own all of the books...1st release originals written by Ian Fleming. Have all the Bond cars, obviously in miniature form. Books, posters, calenders, even a 007 ring.

Ane the weird thing is Connery's movies were generally boring, Diamonds are Forever was decent as was Thunderball. Moore was too much of a clown, Dalton I didn't like 1 bit, Brosnan was fantastic & really saved the series with GoldenEye.

But I am really liking Daniel Craig, he has brought back the sharp edginess the series needed. He is in damn good shape too unlike Moore.

BTW, you forgot to mention George Lazenby from his 1 & only appearance as Bond. Also David Nivens played Bond in a very forgetable version of Casino Royale.

Yeah yeah - I knew someone would mention Lazenby. The first PG movie I ever saw was "Live and Let Die."

Cary Grant. I don't believe there was ever a better looking man.

That one & The Man with the Golden Gun are the only 2 Moore movies that I like.

There was only one true Bond, Sean Connery!

Go back & watch the Connery versions now, they are hilarious because they are so horrible. One name sums up how bad those movies were "***** Galore". I can't believe they actually used that in a movie.

I think License to Kill is my favorite Bond movie. Im not really sure why though. I just like the part where the guy gets thrown in the cocaine grinder.

I just finished reading this whole thread.

I loved those movies when I was a teenager. I don't want to watch them now and spoil the memory.
