Well we’ve reached out to a couple places about adding a pup to our family. 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a couple fish tanks - it’s a zoo!

This photo was taken about a month prior to us putting down Maya "Papaya" (Boxer/Visla mix). It's been now about 1.5 years since and as much as I would love to have another best friend in the family, we decided it was best to wait until my son is about 2 years old. So come Sept. 1st of this year, we plan to seriously look into adding a new family member. We felt it would be best to watch Spencer grow and not have to constantly worry about a puppy grabbing all of our attention at once. Maya was probably the best companion I've ever had and I miss her every day. Looking to post some pics of the new addition in the coming months.

Maverick was 23 pounds at his appointment Wednesday. Still whines like we never feed him.

Bandit will be three July 6th. What a difference from when he was 12 weeks old.

When I returned from golf today, I was greeted with 'How are the cygnets doing? My wife insists that I count and check the babies when I play. This was them two weeks ago. I am happy to report that all four have fattened up well and were looking healthy today. At my previous club, the swan parents were hopeless, producing fox food which rarely saw a second month.

My wife has adopted the babies as our new pets…. time to get a dog.

Minnie, our ever so ferocious 1 year old Goldendoodle.

Holly a rescue from Mississippi. Found on Xmas day, shipped up to PA. She had a bad case of heartworms and a broken femur. Has to be one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Just a foster for now. She will go to a good home when she is all better.

All four still fat and healthy, two weeks later.

My wife sent me this picture the other day while she was taking Ellie to daycare. For some reason she was talking to her and this is what she saw when she looked in the mirror

Awesome!!! We have swans at my course. A nesting pair had 5 cygnets and I keep tabs on their numbers. Last year was a bummer. They lost 4 in the span of a week. 4 -> 0. Previous year they went 5 for 5!

We played on Sunday and the swans were sitting in the fairway landing zone. As we walked to the box, the swans moved into to the pond. I pushed my drive and the ball landed about a foot from one of the adults (couldn't see the cygnets in between the adults). Ugh, I felt sick to my stomach. Very happy I didn't hit one of them.
