In between shots he discusses how inappropriate club companies are being by throwing aggressive lofts on their new products. (just guessing)
there would be two 1/2 yard sticks quickly.

The fact that it is cheating and way too slow would not be a combo I could handle. The first time he got out the stick, I would tell him he can’t do it. If he got it out again, I would let him play with himself.

Same here, I'm finishing the hole then politely asking him to let me play on or, if available, I'll just skip one hole. Don't get me wrong I don't mind slowish play, but that one crosses the threshold
I think it should be allowed but have to replace your putter in the bag.
Fingers crossed someone rolls up to the Rivalry with a yardstick in the bag.
