Hello, my name is biggsy and I am a THP-a-holic

1. You find yourself checking the recent posts query to see if anyone is even looking at your new post, but just not responding.

2. You feverishly hit refresh to see if any new posts are up for you to peruse.

3. You are thinking about something someone on the other side of the country said about new golf balls while you are in a conference call with your boss and a client.

4. Your normal friends look at you funny when you bring up conversations you've had on line with people with strange screen names involving balls, bags or clubs.

5. You've stopped watching TV.

6. You change your avatar more than once a week.

7. You have a triple digit number of posts.

8. You have a four digit number of posts. Anything above that, seek help. :D

9. You check out the new posts and find your damn name on every single one of them.

10. And last but not least...internet arguments!

Please add to this, I know I am missing a bunch of good ones!
 
I think Im guility of all those. A couple weeks ago my girlfriend told me that I spend too much time on golf forums. She just doesnt understand.
 
I'm sure I have no idea what you are talking about biggsy! hehehe

You try to get your name to show on all the most recent posts screen at the same time.
 
I have 4 pages that pop-up when I start the internet. THP is one of them and I look at the new posts before I switch screens to read my emails.

biggsy- Is it bad when I doddle "Penta TP" and "Supertri" on the meeting notes during my weekly sales meeting? hehe

Your family members ask you what's up with other forum members.
 
Wow and I thought I needed help ... good to see there will be a bunch of people from THP there with me.

BTW I am guilty of at least 8 of the 10 on the original list

I take offense... not sure which six to complain about, but that's not fair.

man I kept my avatar picture for the longest time becuase it was bright red. That way I could scroll down a thread quickly and use my own pic as a marker. haha
Finally changed it cuz I got sick of it.
