What did you shoot today?

41/43 which is an ok round for me. Played all greens to back, only rolled 4 greens off the back. Really helped keeping my tempo.

43/38-81. Ugly start to tonight’s sim round, but things got back on track on the back nine. Seemed to play loooong from 6,600 with no driver (darn ceilings). Had a great 3 wood / 3 wood on 18 for birdie.

Played 9, shot 40. My goal for this course is 37 and under. So I was off today.

I should my all time best score of 82! I beat my next best score by 8 strokes!
I joined this online golf coaching thing and I took a couple of really simple things to the course and it improved my iron play a lot. It was crazy bc I was not even having a good chipping day and it was rainy, windy, and 45 degrees.

37/37 for a two over 74. 3 birdies. 12 GIR. 31 putts. The wind was gusting at over 30 mph on the back, so this was an extremely satisfying score this early in the season.C3ABF2E7-A7B5-4EE3-B1D4-D6CDF64476AD.jpegD10E42B0-A0EC-4E42-9EDA-5FB1A3046558.jpeg

Played Payne’s Valley on the sim and shot a 35-37-72. I need to play that course for real. I really liked it.

Sim 42/38-80 tonight. One better than yesterday despite going swimming on #7.

As a public health doctor have not got to play last week and envy all of you but I did help oversee a vaccine clinic that gave out hundreds of shots of another sort.
Thanks all who liked/appreciated = just doing my job and so far going well with no major adverse events.

42/42 = 84. A few flashes of brilliance, a few moments of sheer idiocy.

37/37 for another 74. 144 slope. Fun round.

42/43 for an 85. Was +5 on the front, then the back got a little interesting with gusty 20-25 mph winds.

83 at Steele Canyon , canyon and vineyard nines. Beautiful day, mid sixties temperatures.

41 - 38 - 79. Very wet course, with more rain forest for the next 2 days, and rusty swing. 1 birdie, 10 pars, 6 bogeys and 1 double.

41 -42 83. left a few birdie putts short by a few inches. The mowing crew seems to just have earphones on and ignores the people playing. One was 220 out dead in the middle of the fairway. I figured if I aimed at the roof, no way would I hit it. Oops. hit him dead center of the back, glad he had a big jacket on. Then found out I had to play it as it lies :-(

At least he waved as he drove off. Still made par.

90 with 4 pars and 1 birdie. Left a lot on the table with my driver and some duffed chips.

45/38 for an 83. I got there, checked in and we headed right to the first tee ice cold. I went double, bogey, double on the first three to end up +5 after three holes, and figured it was just going to be one of those days. Ended up +8 on the front, then finally woke up on the back nine - I was +1 on the back until I carded a double on 17, so I finished +3 on the back nine. Good driving day, 10/12 FW, but 4/18 GIR. Decent putting day with 30 putts - no three-putts and 6 one-putts.

Nice recovery. (y)

87 in league yesterday. All of a sudden I was hitting a draw and had some go OB lol. Working on more rotation has been a success and I like the progress. I did hole Put on a par 5 bunker shot to save par and then I chipped in for a birdie which was cool. I have never done That twice in a round before. Playing Monday in a tournament and then Thursday-is the PGA senior pro am I am playing in! I am going to hit the putting green today and chip and pitch for awhile.

41/41 for an 82, and I'm laughing about it. It was a classic "there's no photos on the scorecard" day, I got away with more lousy shots than a guy has a right to, and came out smelling like a rose on most of them. 6/12 FW, 6/18 GIR, 29 putts. Course was wide open ahead of us and we finished as a foursome in 3:08.

Played 9 and shot a 38 with 1 double. Pretty good since I haven’t played outside for a couple of weeks due to the weather. I’ve done zero short game stuff recently and the first chip I have done in those 2 weeks, I chipped in for a par save. Not too bad.

Love days where the score feels better than the play. Fast round!

39/38=77 12/14 FIR, 9/18 GIR and 32 putts.

Yeah, it was an 82 that felt like a 92! I love playing with these guys, we get around the course quick but still never feel rushed.
