What did you shoot today?

41-42 today. Really felt great and hit the ball well, just didn’t putt well. 37 putts. Need to work on that!!!! My dad was -1 on through 11 and finished +5 back so he got me by a few strokes but I’m used to that after many years of playing with him

36 - 38 - 74. The play on the back 9 wasn't pretty but was able to scratch out 7 pars. 2 birdies, 12 pars and 4 bogeys.

38/37=75 10FIR 7GIR and 28 putts. 9 pars, 3 birdies, 6 bogeys. Short game and putting saved me today, got up and down quite a few times.

I missed so many Putts today. I could have had a great game.

45/41 : 86

42/37-79 on a short par 70 today. An 84 on yesterday’s course would have produced the same differential. A handful of drivable par 4’s out there. Irons weren’t too sharp and chipping left something to be desired. Driver was fading borderline slice, but I realized that and played it. All in all good day.

Shot a disappointing 89 today. Had some bad luck along the way, but a lot of poor execution as well. 4 penalties off the tee, had three different punch shots that didn't stay low enough and caught branches, had no feel from 80-40; just a bummer of a round. The only good thing is I'm so disappointed in myself that the next time I play I certainly won't have any expectations of a good score lol.

Bad day today. Started with a birdie, played the next 4 holes solid. And enjoyed the company the rest of the way. That's about the only nice thing I can say. Posted a crowd-pleasing 92.

Played my ass off and squeaked out a 2&1. Course, weather, and competitor were all great, and it was one to remember on an interesting day to do it.

Carrying the Speed and TSi3 drivers recently worked out perfectly today. Felt comfortable pressing every line off the tee, and I don't think I've driven the ball better in a singular round. Out of position a couple times on approach as the breeze picked up, but the M Craft IV feels like a part of me right now and putting was real good again. Did what I wanted to do and ready to cycle down a bit.

Which I guess I started by getting my ass handed to me by the wife in mini golf tonight. And I actually tried. GD water feature screwed me! Lol

Followed up the great Friday round with another solid one on Saturday. Was nervous to be honest, as it can be tricky to follow up a great round.
Saturday highlights: 72 with one eagle one bird and 3 bogeys.

Driver is still misbehaving, but I’m keeping it in play. Likely going to pick up a Cally Max LS to see if it can help…

We had our annual Wisconsin Dells trip

81 Friday at Trappers Turn

87 Saturday am at Wild Rock
-14 in our afternoon 4 man scramble.
I made 4 bombs...never putted like that before

87 Sunday at Wild Rock

That's a back nine to remember!

It was just crazy solid. I had my first fried egg on the par 3 and it took me 2 to get out of the sand (although that’s pretty typical these days), but other than that I had a chance for a clean back nine. Could have been crazy low! It was a silly and very easy little course, but it’s still nice to see a sub-80 score.

43/44 for an 87. Had moments of brilliance and moments of sheer idiocy, I'm in one of those phases right now where my consistency is zero. Beautiful morning, 90° when we started and 98° when we finished, with a little breeze to keep things cool.

We were playing a foursome - as I drove into the course there was a threesome teeing off on #2. It took us 10-15 minutes to get geared up and head to the first tee, so they had a bit of a head start. We caught up to them by #8, were waiting on them on #9 and #10, and they let us play through on #11. Nobody else in front of us on the course once we got past them, we finished in 3:12.

34 - 38 - 72. Stupid game... Was 4 under through 11 after starting the back 9 birdie - birdie then my swing disappeared and it was an endless array of pull hooks the rest of the way. 5 birdies, 8 pars and 5 bogeys.

Started my latest round-with-a-birdie run on Saturday. Ended it Sunday.

40-42 82 with two birdies. It was 80* when we teed off and 95* when we left 18 three hours later. We did not expect to play all 18 because of the heat, but a lot of people did not play today and it was pretty fast for a much needed change.

2 over on the front, bogie fest on the back for an 81. Driver good, approach shots good, putting needs work!

What a day! Feels so good to be playing well again! Logged my putts wrong on 2 holes, so should have 32 putts but having 12 birdie looks has me excited! Only made 1 so have some work to get my looks closer. Also great to play on of my frequented courses from Arkansas when I was stationed here. Get another look at her tomorrow so we will se what happens!

Mountain course with a ton of blind tee and approach shots, that was interesting without gps. Really hit the ball quite well the whole round, just a lot of unpredictability/unfamiliarity. Greens were pretty nice, and I dropped a couple beauties, but got fooled a couple times. Wasn't where we planned on playing, but that got rained out, and our whole schedule is out of whack now, so unfortunately I won't get back to town in time to tee it up with @ttucliffhanger and see him crush it with his friends tomorrow. It was a long shot from the start, but was hoping I could make it work. And it looks like they actually mowed the tee boxes! , so that's kind of a double kick in the nuts. Lol On the plus side, I got to play today with the wife, have been having fun, and the roller coaster killed someone AFTER we rode it. 😕. So I probably shouldn't complain.
