What did you shoot today?

Walked 9 since the weather was great and shot a 38. Had a birdie, bogie, and double. Overall happy minus the one errant tee shot on a par 3 that led to the double.

Nice shooting. I need to sneak out for nine tomorrow since the weather is going to be in the 50’s.

Thanks. My putter has finally thawed out.

39 - 38 - 77. Still doing the half set challenge. 1 birdie, 2 bogeys, 2 doubles and a bunch of lip outs.

81 with 29 putts, 9 pars, and 9 bogie 1s. Actually beat my cousin for a change. He shot an 82. That doesnt happen very often. Me beating him. He's older than me, but a much better consistent golfer.

My shot of the day was a 165 yard, 7W to with in 10' of the pin. Missed the birdie putt leaving me a tap in for par. Made some nice chips too.

Made 7 one putts for either par, or bogie. No 3 putts.

It was a good time.

3-over 39. Got through the first 4 holes, which can kick my tail some days, at even par. Then, went double bogey/bogey on the par 5 5th and 6th holes. Go figure.

I only hit 2 GIRs and 2/7 fairways, but was inside the cart path and playable on 4 of the 5 missed.

Upper 70s, so the ball was flying well today. I hit the hybrids really good today.

It was a 40-32 for +1 72 on a 71.8/130. The fact that it plays over 7k and had multiple par 4s over 500 makes it seem insane it that it's only 71.8...

Really shook off the rust as I approached the turn and had some good shots on the back. Liked the first round with the Stroke Lab Three, but I feel like it could have been a real good score with a putter I was familiar with. Hoping to drop a few more with the flatstick today.

id rather not say lol

I backed up to the Golds at my local course, which plays nearly 800 years longer than where I've been playing. Did this as I saw the video about hitting driver more off the deck. We were only able to get in 15 holes before dark.

Hit 47/30 (through 15) with two par 5's and a par 4 left that I generally play pretty well. I hit my driver on EVERY tee shot today. I hit 71% of fairways on the front 9 and 100% of fairways on the back 6. Longest drive was 259 yards. Although the score wasn't great my any means, I know I need to stick with the driver, play the longer tees and start looking for some long range pin seekers to put in my bag (hybrids/FW woods).

Well I’m glad that’s over. Between the wind, cold, and mud I shot a 41-44-85. Pretty terrible all the way around.

39 on a par 27 9-hole. Driver sucked. Irons were $

Was going to play today, but way too cold for these old bones. Not supposed to get over 38. If it got to around 45 I can stand it.

Squeezed in a quick 9 during lunch and shot a 37. With 1 eagle and 2 bogies.

Played again today. 37-33-70 (-2) with two bogies and a birdie on the front. Then started the back birdie bogey birdie birdie. Mixed in a few pars and birdied 18. This game is kinda fun again

Second round in the Cobras.

41 + 42 = 83

Hit one in the drink and missed 5-6 makeable birdie putts in the 6-12 foot range. Short game is a work in progress but irons and driver were very strong for me. Lots of tasty approach shots.

Indeed, even standard with incredible ball striking and one more day of not making a putt more than 3 feet. 15 GIR with 34 putts which makes for 47% of my strokes with the level stick, lol! I'll get my putting fixed soon yet it was another round where I missed 7 putts from 6-10 feet and the longest putt I made was a 3 footer for standard after a shelter shot. Two of my three intruders were 3 putts and two of my three birdies were two-putts. I love this game and don't expect compassion from forum bahis yet I can hardly wait until this putting droop is finished... Obviously when that happens my long game will suck.:act-up:

Mid-way through the year last year, I sucked at 5' and over putts and missed my share of 3-5' putts. I was plagued with those. As the year progressed though, I practiced 5' and in and that practice somehow made my longer putts way better. Not perfect, but so much better that toward the end of the year I was making a much higher percentage (probably around 70-80% - did not do stats on those) of putts under 5' and made many more that were slightly over 5'. My 3 putts were reduced dramatically. My long putts even got better.

I made some fantastic 20-30 foot putts toward the end of the year. I just need more putting practice overall. I am one of those people that cannot overthink putting. Too many thoughts kill my rhythm and tempo. I have to simply "feel" it smooth all the way to the hole. I do hate it when you have this putt that is about 5 to maybe 10 feet and you hit it within about 2-4" of the cup and you are robbed of a stroke! Arrrrrggghhhh....hate them suckers.

Yeah putting is about feel and trusting your stroke. I’ve been kinda playing around with some techniques so I’m not too focused on scoring with the flat stick at this moment. Plus winter greens are always a bit more squirrelly.

As this offseason ends I’m going to start spending 70 percent of my practice time on short game. During the soggier months I tend to work on ball striking.

Since I'm in Canada, all my rounds are on my gc2 sim playing jnpg. In this week's Web.com event on Ogt, shot my first ever sub par round of 69 (-3) at Torrey Pines South.
I know sim rounds don't count like real rounds, but this is really getting me pumped for my Palm Springs trip next week!
Buying the Gc2 is the best money I've spent on golf in 5 years I think.

I made my way down from northern Michigan to Southwest Florida. I played my 1st round since mid September today and shot an 86. I tripled the last 2 holes!
