Where Did You Play Today?

I played at Potomac Ridge today in Accokeek, MD. I played the Meadows course for the front 9 and made the turn onto the Hollows course. Had a decent round with great weather.

Gross National in Minneapolis, decent muni course. Followed that up with a quick nine at Cedarholm a par three close to home, the only course I know where you have to be aggressive on downhill putts!

My Home Course, Millwood, I only played 9 though, spent a couple hours on the range, Vegas will be here soon

Prairie Lakes Golf course in Grand Prairie, Tx. They have 3, 9 holes courses and we got to play on the 9 that I have not been on. Not a bad track, but it's great when playing with a group of THPrs.

Arsenal Island Golf Club

Running a $10 special right now, which is hard to beat. Course is a bit of a pain in the butt due to a massive amount of trees. It used to be private and was opened to the public a couple years back. Sits on Arsenal Island, which has history back to the Civil War. Some neat scenery of the Colonel's houses and a few holes play along the Mississippi River.

Copied that from the first post. That's where I went yesterday again. Now the special is $22 after 4pm with a cart for all you can play.

Course is in prime shape. Better than anywhere else I've played in the QC this summer. If you'd seen this place three years ago when they finally went public (private mgmt company ran it into the ground) you'd never believe they'd be able to get it back to where it is. Very impressive.

It's still a rotten course if you're loose of the tee though. Picture above is a good example why.

I got to play at a private club in NC today called Bentwinds. It was one of the nicer courses I've played in NC and posed quite a challenge. They are listed on the courses for the PGM students at my school to play and when I went in to pay the dude said it was free for us. Can't beat free!

Texas Star in Euless, Tx

Willow Springs in Haslet Texas. I only played 14 holes though.

The Old Brickyard again.
Storm knocked out the power & my alarm clock reset to midnight so I woke up 15 minutes before my tee time and the course is 20 minutes away. I ran out the door & called them to find out that it was lightening there so I had plenty of time.

Southern Oaks in Burleson, TX

Went out to Willow Springs in Haslet, TX. Got in 18 after work.

Painted Hills for 18 on date night with Jacqui.

3pm Fri, sat, sun.

Got to play St Ives in Mecosta, MI for the first time. Gorgeous course. Unfortunately don't think I can play one too often.

Top Of The World Resort in Lake George, NY. Typical mountain course, not a flat spot in any of the narrow fairways and small greens with a lot of break.

Got on as a single at Old Brickyard this morning.

Camas Meadows. Nice course. Not especially long but tight and tough with decent amount of sand and water.

Eagle Creak golf course at Downstream Casino

Settlers's Bay Golf Club in Wasilla, Alaska. Some of you might of heard of that town.

Tapatalking on my IPad

Mansfield National in Mansfield, Texas. Had a great time.

Lake St. Catherine Country Club in Poultney, VT
