Long standing golf record broken.

I'll watch just about anything on TV that pertains to golf. Well yesterday I hit an all-time low, the long standing worst movie about golf Caddyshack II which held the title for 30 years has been dethroned! I saw a movie named The Four Some on Amazon Prime so I decided to watch it. It makes Caddyshack II look like an Oscar worthy film, please don't waste your time. I got to thinking about it and I have not seen two golf movies The Legend of Bagger Vance and Tommy's Honour, I'm going to watch those in the office while I finish up a project.

I will certainly steer clear of that one then. Bagger Vance and Tommy's Honour are both quite good IMO.

My favorite character in that movie is Walter Hagen. Love his attitude on the course. I suspect the real life Hagen was a lot of fun.

I enjoyed the Hagen character in Bagger Vance, and in Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius.

Jeremy Northam and Bruce McGill did a good job, but like you I suspect the real life Hagen life and impression had much to do with it.

Both movies shared some simular cues and character focus. (ie. Mr. Jones' shamrock charm)

On Rotten Tomatoes, Caddyshack II is rated at 4%. That's pretty bad. I haven't seen The Foursome, but based on what the OP said, I'll probably stay away from that one.

pretty sure the lead character is Johnny Drama from Entourage... that says enough for me.

Thanks for the heads up. Nothing worse than a horrible golf movie. It just kills me. They should remake Dead Solid Perfect.
