Had planned on playing golf with my putting coach today, but the weather had other plans (rain). So I spent the time building a rack for my putters.

Lots more work to do.... more holes on top, bottom wells (to hold the shaft tops), some dowel pins to hold extra covers, glue the joints, sand, stain and refinish. But I got a good start.

Once it's done it will hold 20 putters. Guess I'll have to make two. Will also need to make some of the holes bigger, to fit the SuperStroke Fatso grips.

Hey that's cool! 20+ putters.... I have two.

Nice job. I only have 5 but working on number 6!

I wish that I had your talent for woodworking. Nice job!

Gonna need a bigger hole.

Looks good mm, nice job!

Awesome work! Love woodwork

very cool rack, will you stain it or just clear it?

Nice, I have 1 putter, lol.

I'll stain it. Haven't decided on a color yet, but I have time. Still need to glue the dowel pin joints, add some larger holes for the SS Fatsos, and give it a good sanding. Looks like I might have all weekend to work on it.

Nice start. Buck and Papa Buck made a beautiful putter rack a while ago. You can read and see it here. http://www.thehackersparadise.com/forum/showthread.php?30536-Buck-and-Papa-Bucks-Putter-Rack

I just saw it. Very Impressive; and I enjoyed going back and following their progress. Hope they post their next project the same way. Absolutely awesome!

Good thing I'm just an amateur and not competitive. This is my first wood work project since high school and that was a life time ago.

That looks pretty sweet

Nice work, it looks awesome. 20+ putters dam, I only have two haha.

Awesome start I wanna start a new project now that my season is slowing down a bit. This is cool it's easier than people think if you just wanna do something simple. This is pretty awesome looking can't wait to see how it turns out.

Working on the bottom plate today. Bought a drill press to make the task easier and more efficient.

Decided not to add more holes. Will leave it at 12, plus two lay down stands for 14 clubs total; and build another for other clubs/putters.

Still haven't glued the joints. Will take it apart today and sand all the pieces to get it ready for some Minwax stain. Will also make the feet today, and pick up some felt. SHould finish this project by next weekend.
