Question for @Luke WilliamsCG
Any particular reason the Eleven isn’t offered in a Crank hosel/Plumbers neck?
Thanks
Nope, we have a ton of sku’s as it is, we can’t offer every head/hosel combination so we try to have variety and balance through our line.
Yes, those are the most common lengths, we have very few people that we see that need putters shorter than 33″.
Appreciate the response @Luke WilliamsCG! From static fitting tools based off my arm length etc I’ve seen lengths suggested as low as 31” for me so I’ve always been curious about that.

High MOI in a putter is awesome for someone like me that doesn’t get the opportunity to work on putting as much as I would like. With the weight being moved more forward to help with CG, is there an opportunity to adjust the weighting further to help with either closing the face faster, or vice versa?
You can adjust the weight of the head, which will have a very subtle effect on cg depth, but you cannot adjust the position of the weights.
Our Stroke Lab shafts all come with weights in the butt, so yes that is part of the design of the Stroke Lab system.
Well this is a game changer.

Hi @Luke WilliamsCG
When looking at neck styles of the Two Ball Eleven, are the extra neck offerings for a players eye preference only, or do the different neck styles play a larger role in aim bias?
Also, how much of a difference do the different necks make in terms of overall weight placement in the head, or is it not enough of a difference to require any other weight movement?
The different necks have little impact on the overall weight placement of the head, they offer different looks to suit different players eyes and different amounts of toe hang to suit different strokes.

great video/interview @Canadan

@Luke WilliamsCG how do you figure out which shaft best fits your putting swing or style? i know we can just go and hit each (which i do) but is there some kind of scientific method to it?

The best thing to do is go get fit by a qualified fitter.

Where did the original two ball idea come from? More importantly, was it @Luke WilliamsCG and was it part of his ruse to get more people into mallets?

I answered this earlier, but the original concept came from Dave Pelz, we refined and redesigned his non-conforming 3-Ball design and the rest is history.

Just picked up the 2Ball Ten with stroke lab and love it! It replaced another 2Ball and seemless.
Loving that more people could be drawn into the 2Ball family with this new addition! It’s such a great putter!
My last 2Ball was red, any chance that color comes out again?
What was the idea behind the design of the 2Ball
There is always a chance! But we don’t have any plans for a red one. And as I’ve said the earlier the original 2-Ball idea came from Dave Pelz.
We have different objectives with different putter models and consider lots of factors. Look and feel are critical obviously for any putter line. As for performance the speed that the ball comes off the face and the consistency of that speed is across the face is a big one as is roll and the consistency of the roll across the face. The more we can do to make off center hits behave more like center hits, as with any golf club design, the more consistent we can make the golfer. We do have to consider all of these things though with every putter line.

Hi @Luke WilliamsCG
Which of the new 2Ball Elevens seems to be the most popular on tour?
With having more options, fitting becomes as important as ever. Are you all seeing increases in fittings to correspond with options?
Also, I literally just ordered the CrankHosel 2Ball Eleven Tour Lined about 30 minutes ago. Of all my putters, I don’t think I’ve ever really gamed a crank hosel mallet (330m would probably be the closest). So thanks for offering that
@Luke WilliamsCG I know this isn’t exactly about the eleven, any thoughts on adding the Odyssey brand to the garage or its’ own garage section?

From looking at the bottom, I figured there might be a chance to adjust the toe or heel weight amount to affect face closure. Many thanks for taking the time to respond!

First of all, I’m glad we could offer something you don’t already have! Early days still on Tour, but the Tour Lined has been the most popular out of the gate. Putter fitting has become more and more popular over the last couple years and that is definitely a trend we see continuing.

We’ve talked about it, but don’t have any immediate plans.
What type of golfer benefits from the two ball alignment compared to other options on the eleven?
Does combining the Two Ball and Triple Track alignment systems enhance the benefits of each? I had an old Two Ball CS that I didn’t get along with and then immediately loved my Ten (and Eleven) Triple Track.

It just comes down to which one you are better able to align the most consistently. To really know you need to either try for yourself or better yet get fit. It’s hard to generalize.

It can, some people absolutely swear by it, for some it is too much going on, really player dependent.
@Luke WilliamsCG can you share what the inspiration was for the shape of the Eleven? It looks amazing if I am honest.
@Luke WilliamsCG I know you may have explained this in the video with Dan but I’m kind of not knowledgeable about technology and golf equipment. My question simply is how does the CG affect the specific putter. You had indicated that you didn’t want to have the CG too far back in the putter.
Question- When you look at a particular putting stroke does the CG of the putter have a dIfferent effect to cause a different outcome?
Really enjoyed the video and talk. I haven’t taken the plunge into mallets, but this would definitely be at the top of my consideration if I did. I may have to go roll this at PGASS.
Question for @Luke WilliamsCG – referring to you comments about the eleven in Japan vs. the US, any insight into why it was pushed right away in Japan vs. post tri-hot in the US? Are mallets more prevalent in Japan or some other reason?
Question for Luke – Will these be available with different faces inserts?
Question, any plans for a new 2 ball blade? Can any improvements be figured out to the traditional design?

We were just looking for a new progressive mallet shape, wanted something a little more angular with inspiration from the overall outer profile of the Seven. Went through lots of concepts and iterations before settling on the final shape.

In larger high MOI mallets the tendency is for the cg to get too far back from the face, in pursuit of inertia. The result, for some, can be a tendency to leave the face open at impact. With this design we were able to maintain extremely high MOI (over 5000 Izz) while keeping the cg closer to the face to make it easier, for most, to square up at impact.

We just wanted to get Tri-Hot off to a strong start on the PGA Tour, that is really it. In Japan the Tour season starts later and both had been in the market for awhile already so we were promoting them more equally out of the gate and they both have done really well for us.

I bet that was fun playing with the weighting to bring the CG forward! This high MOI is going to give you great forgiveness across the face of the putter for distance control! The face balance will definitely help keep the ball on it’s intended target line. Win Win!

@Luke WilliamsCG I’ve been leaning blade (currently Austin in the bag) for years. but I bought and occasionally game a Triple Track 2-ball blade. By the way, great video, Luke and Dan!!
What benefit, if any, might there be over the Tri-Hot 5K line? I played a 2Ball for many years, then a V-Line and most recently settled into the Triple Wide. I can’t imagine that the 2Ball Eleven is much better on slight mid hits than the TW. It is so good.
