At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by the golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing.
Recently, THP & TaylorMade Golf sent out 6 sets of the brand new RBZ irons to THP forum members and the equipment is arriving in their hands as we speak. It is their job to play the role of equipment tester and put the irons through the paces and update the readers accordingly with their thoughts. Follow along for another consumer based review and find out what regular golfers just like you think about this interesting piece of equipment.
What an amazing opportunity presented to the forum from TaylorMade golf!! We are only a few days in and have already seen some very solid reviews including some video that really surprised me regarding how solid these long irons sound.
Really looking forward to following the testers through the process as they get their Rocketballz on!!
Some really great info already being discussed in the forum about these irons! A lot of good testers for this one and we’re going to get a lot of great on course and range feedback.
Some incredible reviews already and we are only a few days into testing. These guys are awesome…video, writeups and 10PM range sessions already. This will only get better and better!
Amazing to see the amount of info that has been posted in just a couple short days. Looking forward to following the progress guys.
Great feedback so far. Only a few days in and there are all ready some great reviews of these irons!!
Some great feedback just days into the testing. Some of the testers putting the 4Iron to the test off the tee and putting the ball way out there. The RBZ’s sound legit. WTG testers keep it up .
As one of the testers I can say that these irons are for real. The performance reports seem accurate. I think these are going to be game changers for me. Thanks to THP and TaylorMade for this opportunity.
Heading out to the course tomorrow to play with the RocketBallz irons tomorrow for the very first time! Can’t wait to see what happens?! Thanks again Taylor Made and THP!
Great reviews on these being put together by the Testers here at THP! I am looking forward to see how these work out for the testers in the long haul.
Been following this review thread and so far I’ve been impressed with the results. Great opportunity from Taylormade and THP!!
Great job so far fellows, some very interesting and exciting info coming out of this thread already.
Thanks TM and THP for giving people the opportunity to review these irons. I was already leaning towards buying some but after reading all the great reviews I am completely sold.
The enthusiasm being displayed by the testers in their reviews is contagious and speaks volumes about these new irons. They are definitely on my must try list. Thanks TaylorMade and THP for making this possible.
I’m going to sneak these out to the golf course when Ole Gray isn’t looking and give them a try myself. They look fantastic and I want to hit them asap!
I will be following the thread on these iron very closely, the testers are all off to a terriffic start. Looking forward to my opportunity to hit the RocketBallz irons. Thank you THP and TaylorMade for giving this opportunity to this great group of testers.
These testers are off to an amazing start with their feedback. I love the sounds I’m hearing from some video so far as well. Keep it up guys!
Ive really enjoyed the testing so far as its been very thorough and full of enthusiasm. Love seeing forum members get equipment to test and show their excitement. This looks to be one of the better groups of testers. TaylorMade should be very happy.
Great start to this forum test. Personally, I regard this kind of test highly informative and much more trustworthy than any other type of club test.
All the testers are doing a fantastic job…tons of information in just a couple of days!
Fourteen pages in and loving it! Good to see OG started right out using off the tee, and bahester taking to par threes.
I have truly enjoyed the reviews so far. Thank you THP and TaylorMade for doing this forum testing!
I’ve come to this thread late and have spent a few hours today reading the reviews. AWESOME information, great pictures and outstanding videos. The testers are BRINGING DA HEAT !!!
I have been hitting a demo TM SF 2.0 4i hybrid and was going to buy it. My pro said I’ll have the RBZ clubs in for demo ANY DAY NOW. Wait and try them.
After reading these reviews I am BESIDE MYSELF waiting to get my hands on these to try them out.
Thanks THP and Taylormade for providing the THP Forum members with such a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to test out the new TM equipment….. AWESOME !!!
Rented these at The Resort at the Mountain by Sandy,OR. Best clubs I’ve ever played with. I’m not good but the clubs made a hecker like me play decent. Cartmate used the driver and he hit it very well, which is incredible because he’s no champion either.
Played with these irons in stableford competition on Saturday off the whites in a fairly strong wind. This was my first time playing with the irons didn’t even try on the range. Came back with 37 points only 2 bad shots, they feel really good and easy to hit well done Taylormade.
the rbz is all hype what a load of crap about it exploding off the club face. my titeist 905 out guns the rbz .its all bollocks
I found this site about 2 weeks ago. The testers have done a GREAT job reviewing these clubs, both good and bad.
Mine arrived today. Will be at the shop in the A.M and then on to the range to give them a thorough workout. Have a tee time for Thursday. Gotta have these puppies ready for battle.
I just bought these clubs last week. Pretty nice when you hit the clubface on the sweet spot. The only thing I don’t agree 100% ( or even 60%) is that they are, as Golf Digest catergorized them, SGI (Super Game Improvement or Max Game Improvement) Clubs. I’m not saying they are “hard to hit”, but for a High Handicaper, there are easier to hit and more forgiving clubs out there.
