Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 158. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Terry Koehler from Edison Golf joins the show, in a fascinating conversation about short game, wedges and more.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Terry Koehler talk about the new Edison 2.0 Wedges. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Terry Koehler goes Off Course.
Episode 158 is here and Dan and Jason Terry Koehler discuss the following topics.
Mass in the Right Place = Looking Different is Good
Moving Weight vs Hollow Body vs Cavity Back
Wedges and Dynamic Loft
The Right Club for Each Shot
Mass Location and Weighting
And so much more

You caught that comment in the thread?
it’s been hilarious watching you dudes test high on the face.
It was a request from our friend @Scooby45 so I had to give the man what he wanted.
But when looking at the wear pattern after hitting some various shots, it is amazing to see that I’m in the B to low C range. And this is exactly where Terry put the weight to help us average golfers on the course.

Yep…me too.
Math and logic on a golf pod? Not sure I can do it? ?
Im exactly the opposite from his description. While its’ a swing fault, I battle keeping my hands / arms behind my body. My 54 deg with a 20g heavier shaft is my most consistent club. I wonder if all that mass is slowing my hands arms just enough to "fix" my fault tendencies.
It’s been fun to watch you all test. It makes me very curious as I know I miss high….
reading this comment makes me want to fire it up
I love it. It’s like a total refusal to relate it to a wedge.
Just like I refuse to relate disc and golf together lmao
He mentioned it’s pretty much a 10i so I can get on board with a 10 or even a P iron. But P club just doesn’t do it for me lol
haha, my Dad used to play a 10 club.
Like called it a 10 club? after meeting him, I’m not sure if I’m surprised lol
no he called it a 10 iron I’m just trying to trigger you haha
Doing a great job at it
And when he’s discussing forgiveness and a more consistent ball flight on impacts all across the face, he’s speakin’ my language. I think I’d benefit from an Edison fitting.
It is a 10 iron
As always, Off Course is the highlight of my Friday workday!
I found it really interesting when he was talking about which clubs we actually spin the most and that usually not being the highest lofted one.
