J4U thanks for the hard work that 120 yard shot was eye opening. The performance looked really good.

I would be afraid of losing them and having to come up with good story :confused2::bashful:I did chip a few out into a grassy area off to the side, not looking where I was intending the ball to go, just to see how easy it would be to find in the late afternoon sun. I was not watching where they landed or rolled to.
A lot longer than I thought it would that's for sure! Thanks DDGood stuff J4U, those vids must have taken a long time to upload. I appreciate your hard work buddy.
I was quite surprised reading about roll out, they behaved pretty well. For someone that can really control the ball, I bet these could be pulled back, just don't think I could.J4U thanks for the hard work that 120 yard shot was eye opening. The performance looked really good.
Thanks HawkThanks for the great summaries, DawgDaddy, J4U and afw. I really enjoyed them!
Thanks GG, am amazed at how much work goes into these things and it's only a single golf ball!I just want to say that you guys are doing an absolutely phenomenal job with this testing! I am really impressed!!
I just got back from a round in some howling winds again...played the full 18 holes with the Chromax balls today and lost my first one....it drowned in a water hazard...although as much as they glow some fish might have eaten it....LOL.
I will have a full write up later this afternoon.
I continued putting for about an hour mixing up the lengths and the breaks of the putts until the end when I attempted some 40/50' putts. Now this is where I did see the chromax having an issue. I ran all the balls up to within 18" except the chromax. They came up short on a couple of occassions.
i love everything about this ball
if only it was cheaper and could swim
Yeah the balls are still pretty cool, great to look at, just a bit pricey for what they are if you ask me, if they were the right price, I wouldn't mind them as a winter ball so far

I think at a lower price they could be a great ball for the "hard to find your ball in the fairway seasons". A bit too high compression for Colorado winter golf I think, but will find out soon. The cover is a bit harsh for my liking, but pretty impressed with what I've seen so far.

Great review. I'm surprised to hear it does well in the wind!
Nice writeup Hawk. Now get back to the Bladez forum. Just kidding. The photos were great - sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. I find it interesting that the ball out performs the e6 in wind. I've had pretty good luck with the e6 in the wind. That plus the extra distance makes this an interesting option (though I'm not in love with the price point).

Thanks, GG! It's been a fun product to test for me so far.
Home after a day of travel and 18 using these, will have a write up tomorrow. Some interesting results in a bit of wind and on firm greens.
