I love when you refer to yourself in the 3rd person:ROFLMAO:
Listening now I’m interested in what you have to say about this.
Just finished listening. Another great episode. Agee with all and am seeing some of the same things in GA with respect to tee time spacing tightening back up a little.

Something my club did briefly was have different blocks of tee times. 2 hours riding, 2 hours walking, 2 hours riding, etc. It was mainly because limited carts when it was 1 person to a cart, but it had unintended consequence of making a walking round fairly enjoyable, and quick.
I wonder if you could also do something like that with tee time spacing. Charge a bit more for to have a more relaxed round.
This was a good listen, I agree with some of what you said especially about the flagstick. I hated leaving it in but its grown on me. If we can just get rid of the stupid plastic discs and pool noodles I probably wont take it out. I putted once last week with it out and it was actually weird haha
Listened to the podcast and I think many agree with most of your comments.
I love the one cart rule per person and hope that stays.
I also like the online tee reservations option, but do like walking into the pro shop looking at merchandising. However, I admit, I have never purchased anything except some balls at any pro shop that wasn’t during a vacation. So, I wonder how much money golf courses really make keeping the pro shops open.
I miss having the watering holes, but if they sent around the beer cart more often than that alleviates the issue.
I prefer courses that have our own rake on the cart. This is an easy option now and post Covid. It is very easy to wipe down the rake as you wipe down the golf cart.
All in all, I have found Covid golf very enjoyable and hope many of the changes stay in force for the future. I understand the tee times need to become more in the 8-10 min frame, but that will still be easy to keep the pace of play with the one cart per person rule.
