2009 Readers Choice Awards

Each year The Hackers Paradise gives out our THP Readers Choice Awards based strictly on reader voting and determining what our readers think is the best product in a particular category. We have 16 different categories and nominations are done by a panel of judges based on only products that THP has tested over the course of a calendar year. There were approximately 5 nominations in each category and when the dust settled and the voting polls closed, there could be only one winner.

Here are the list of our 2009 THP Readers Choice Award Winners.

Best Golf Bag – Bag Boy Revolver Pro
Best Ladies Apparel Brand – Lija
Best Mens Apparel Brand – Sligo
Best Fashion Accessory – Sumi-G Belt
Best Headcover – Daphne’s Talking Dog
Best Golf Shoes – Puma Swing Crown GTX
Best Premium Golf Ball (over $30) – Titleist Pro V1
Best Golf Ball (under $30) – Bridgestone e6+
Best Golf Cart – Clic Gear 2.0
Best Wedge Line – Cleveland CG14
Best Distance Measuring Device – Bushnell Yardage Pro XGC
Best Hybrid – Adams A7
Best Mallet Putter – Odyssey Sabertooth
Best Blade Putter – SeeMore mFGP
Best Driver – Taylormade R9
Best Iron Set – Mizuno MX-200

Congratulations to each and every company that won as well as all the companies that were nominated. There were some really close calls in the voting in quite a few different categories.

Unlike a lot of other “awards” that are given out each year by so many publications, THP wanted to go a step further. So in doing so, each company that has won an award will be presented with a beautiful plaque at the PGA Merchandise Show in January. Something tangible to showcase that the readers/consumers have spoken and they want to say “Job Well Done”!
