New Srixon irons just hit the USGA conforming list and with it not only a view to what the future might hold, but also both RH and LH models were shown.
There were two new irons that hit today. Both the Srixon ZX5 MKII and the ZX7 MKII which follow in their general timeline of new offerings being every two years with an update.
Notoriously USGA Conforming list pictures are awful, but what do you think so far?
“Pureframe” on the 7, but not the 5. Wonder what that is?
Can’t wait to hear more.
Funny that the 3 iron is left handed.
They added MK to it.
They added MK to spice it up a bit.

Yes.
I only need subtle improvements on that one to be in.
And how are we saying it? 5 MK II? MK II 7? New ZX7s. No, the new new. MK II.? ZX ’23 MK II? …
??
ZX7 Mark 2.
LMAO it’s better than just adding a 2 or 2.0 I guess
That’s 5 things. ?
I just don’t like it. It feels lazy. I get the improve/refine a great line thing. I still have my ZX7. Love them. Amazing. The naming though..
Barely.
That would have at least been intentionally funny, and I could say I played the beta.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Every time I see 2.0 I think of Michael Scott.
I think of Taylormade Burner 2.0
Not into the looks?
launches TBD
Traditionally in hardware goods, MK2, MK3 and so on, were designated meaning refined and next edition.
Sony does it with their NC headphones. Of course, their naming convention is down right terrible.
Correct. Over the years, camera systems have been known for this as well.
I think the 7 has always looked better. That said I may be strange in that I don’t care what it looks like from the back I care what it looks like at address and how the ball goes through the ground.
