While they don’t offer the same hot-button talking point that their driver counterparts will, it wouldn’t be a full lineup without TaylorMade bringing fairways, hybrids, and irons to the table as well. Although they may not be using carbon fiber in the face, they are not short on tech, and the company has a track record of performance in these club segments that speaks for itself.
Let’s take a closer look at the rest of the TaylorMade STEALTH lineup, shall we?
TaylorMade STEALTH Fairway Woods
Though they don’t have the carbon face the driver does, that will not keep the new STEALTH fairways from being some of the most sought after to try fairways on the market for 2022 as TaylorMade has not missed here for some time when it comes to sheer performance. While both carry the same lineup name, they are very different clubs.
STEALTH Fairway
The “standard” option of the two, this is the fairway in the line which will be most playable for the majority of golfers. TaylorMade has reworked the “3D Crown” to pull mass from the toe and place it more towards the back of the club to increase MOI and playability.
The club does feature the new Speed Pocket design which TaylorMade is famous for in its fairways as well as TwistFace, but they have also reworked the V STEEL sole design to make it more playable off the turf, even with the 190cc size in the lower lofts.
STEALTH is available in 3, 3HL, 5, 7, and 9 wood options, with the 3, 3HL, and 5 in LH as well. The stock setup is the Fujikura Ventus Red.
STEALTH PLUS+ Fairway
As was the case of the Ti models in the SIM and SIM2, the PLUS+ is sure to be the flame thrower of the fairway duo for the STEALTH lineup. A smaller 175cc head is now even more manicured to fit the demands of their Tour staff while also having a face that is 12% bigger than the SIM2. The name of the game here is shot making, and speed.
The PLUS+ also has the V STEEL sole with 80g sole plate that has been much lauded in the SIM fairways, as well as Twist Face now on a new ZATECH face material. Add in their patented Speed Pocket and this will be an interesting fairway to test.
STEALTH PLUS+ STEALTH PLUS+
TaylorMade is offering the STEALTH PLUS+ fairway in a Rocket 3, 3, and 5 wood profile with the Rocket being RH only. Stock shaft setup is the Project X HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX.
TaylorMade STEALTH Rescues
The sleeper of both SIM releases, TaylorMade has actually started to carve out a decent niche in hybrids. With the STEALTH line they will again offer two models that are totally different shape and playability levels from each other.
STEALTH Rescue
This is the more accommodating and less daunting of the two hybrid/rescue models for TaylorMade in the shape that has been their most successful. It is likely due to that success that the STEALTH looks so similar, minus the now murdered out aesthetics from the top and bottom.
STEALTH Rescue STEALTH Rescue
By refining the crown carbon, they have saved about 7g to place further into the head and increased the launch even more than past models, and because the head uses a C300 material for its face along with the Speed Pocket, there is sure to be no shortage of speed potential from the tee or turf with this one.
The STEALTH Rescue will come in 3-7 options and pair at stock with either a Fujikura Ventus Red or Aldila Ascent 45.
STEALTH PLUS+ Rescue
Sticking with the same naming convention as the drivers and fairways, it should be no surprise that this is the more workable and smaller profiled rescue/hybrid of the two options in the STEALTH lineup. The much more compact shape has a more squared off toe giving it a more iron like profile overall which makes sense given the focus on versatility.
Using the SpeedPocket and C300 face, the PLUS+ Rescue still looks to offer a lot of speed potential but in a more mid-spin iron replacement type profile. It is in a design like this which TaylorMade seems to offer a surprising amount of versatility and adjustability.
STEALTH Rescue PLUS+ STEALTH Rescue PLUS+
Options for the PLUS+ Rescue are 2-4 with the 17° 2H being RH only. The standard shaft will be the Project X HZRDUS Smoke Red.
TaylorMade STEALTH Irons
While we haven’t seen these in hand yet, the pictures seem to indicate that TaylorMade has listened and attempted to make a much more cohesive aesthetic for the new STEALTH irons compared to what we saw in the SIM and SIM2 releases.
Using what they are calling the “Cap Back Design” which also has a toe wrap aspect to it, they have seemingly taken the performance aspect of previous iterations through the shifting of mass from the high toe to the sole and at the same time made it look cleaner overall. While these are still going to be high launching irons with a thicker topline and a decent amount of offset, they do seem to look much more evolved. Internally, the “ECHO” dampening system uses polymer mixed with contact points to create a more solid overall feel (sound) at impact.
STEALTH Irons STEALTH Irons STEALTH Irons
The STEALTH irons have a 4-PW (43°) set composition with additional AW, SW, and LW set options. Standard shaft with be the KBS Max MT steel shaft or Fujikura Ventus Red graphite and pricing information will follow.
The Details
The entirety of the new TaylorMade STEALTH lineup will release throughout the first and second quarter with irons coming in April, but fairways and hybrids out before that. It is going to be very interesting to see just how it is received, and more so, how it performs. Be sure to jump into the discussion on the THP Community and let us know your thoughts!

I like to think it was someone who quite thoughtfully intended to rile me up so I would go medieval on a course with my TCBs after.
Because otherwise…

But you can see why someone was saying it is a super good iron replacement for players who don’t have high swing speeds.

Well the other two guys I was with were loving it. And one of them hit it better than the UWs. So yeah, it seemed nice enough. I on the other hand couldn’t see the face in poor light, and knew before I even took a full swing with it that the feel of the shaft was going to be a struggle. I hadn’t hit a hybrid in a stretch either. So the whole thing was weird right from the start. Disturbing really. lol I’ll hit it again this coming week with something else if I can. They have to have a black in there somewhere.
One thing I will say that I feel strongly about with it compared to what it play. It sounds faster, but not as good imo.

I hit a Stealth Plus hybrid today. Someone had been talking to me about it and I wanted to give it a go. 2 thoughts.
– It’s small and fast
– An 80S RDX Red is a HORRIFIC fit for me in a hybrid.
RDX Red isn’t a good fit for me either
The Stealth Plus 3 wood is so good for me. I hit it three times today, twice off the tee and once from the fairway on a par 5. I hooked the fairway shot a bit, but it still put me in position to flip a little pitch up onto the green and have a birdie look. The two tee shots were long and straight. Right now, Arccos is telling me that my Smart Distance with 3 wood is 266, which is only 7 yards less than driver and that is crazy long for me.

I found my 16.5 is about 15-20y shorter than my driver…almost perfect gapping. The issue I have is my SimTi 5w is a little too close to the 3w when well struck. I had to loft that up to gap better, but it looks closed to my eye and can lead to hooks
I am not trying to gap in a 3 wood. I would like it to give me 250 off the turf. My desire is that it gives me a chance to reach par 5s in two. I also want it to be super straight off the tee. This seems to do both.

I am going to hit a stealth 3h to see what it is about. I am really, really pleased with the 3HL and want to see if the hybrid is as appealing.
What shaft do you have in the 3HL?
Did a trade-in with TM and ordered the stock regular 3HL.
Very long driver and the 3 wood is blistering and accurate. Buying both.
My Stealth Plus 4 hybrid is my very favorite club in my bag. It is so consistent. According to Arccos, I am hitting 50% of my greens with it. It is a dead solid 200 yard club (it is lofted up to blend into my 6 iron). I hit my 6 iron about 185 and then jump into the hybrid. To be able to hit half of the greens from 200 yards is wonderful. The ball flight is perfect. It is versatile.
Over the weekend, I was on a roadtrip and played some courses in Southern Utah. I used the club on 3 par 3s of around 200 yards over two rounds and hit all three greens.
The club head is small for a hybrid, but don’t let it scare you. It is surprisingly forgiving. Lots of players could have success with this club, imo.

Tried the Stealth 3h. Very easy to hit and it is super hot. Purchased, regripped and placed in bag.

did you hit it compared to the stealth plus model?
I received the Stealth 3 hl 3 wood a week ago looks great . I had the sim 2 max d 3wood last year and it was great , super easy to hit but a bit spiny. My swing improved over the season and was over drawing it. I hope the stealth will be lower spin and less draw basis . Aww but it will be a few weeks before I get to try it on the course .
Just an update I finally got a chance to play the Stealth 3hl . What an upgrade from the Sim2 max d . The hl has less spin not affected by wind near as much . Slightly lower flight and more boring into wind . 10 15yards more into wind . Just what I was looking for . Glad I went with the Hl over the standard 3 wood with my slower swing speed the standard would have been too low a ball flight . Over all for me it is beast like over the max d .
I am starting to feel like the hybrids are the stars of the entire Stealth release. I am playing the 19* degree standard and the 22* Plus (lofted up to 23.5*). They are such solid clubs. The 22* is a great fairway club for second shots on par 5s. I used it three times today for second shots on par 5s and hit it 231, 220 and 247 yards. The 23.5* Plus remains a super club to fit in between my 6 iron and the 19* hybrid. It is a perfect club for that 200 to 205 yard shot.
Not a fan of this driver, but these hybrids may be the best releases this year that very few are talking about
The Hybrids are pure gold !
I am still loving the Stealth hybrids. I used the Stealth 19* on a second shot into a par 5 today and reached the green in two for birdie. I used the Stealth Plus 4 for a second shot into the number one handicap hole and it left me a birdie look. Particularly this shot with the Stealth Plus is simply not something that I could pull off with an iron. I don’t think the Stealth hybrids are getting enough credit for how good they really are this year.
The way things have been with the Apex UW the last couple rounds I’m tempted to order the Pro in a 2H to use as a back up tee club. The pondering never stops.
So I am a convert from my tm M4 5w to a Stealth 5w.
The sound, feel and alignment aid in the face are great. The club appears a little “open” to me but produces a great, predictable ball flight for me.
I picked up 10 yards of carry and a flatter flight with less ballooning. Huge fan of the 5w.
The 3w is also very good. Just I prefer the gapping to a 5w.
With that said, if anyone is interested in a barely used stealth 3w please let me know as I won’t be gaming it. Thanks!

Like my Sim2 max high launch. From testing my friends stealth I see no performance gains.

Much prefer the Stealth hybrid to the Rogue ST Max. More compact and way easier to the eyes.
Took the boss to a fitting today at GG. Reserved time mainly to get some bay time and do it myself. I was surprised the guy actually knew a thing or two and we worked well together during her fitting.
The Stealth irons beat out the Rogue ST Max OS and LTDx by a good margin. This really surprised me. I hit each setup as well between her sets to give her a break. They felt the best to me too and her numbers showed the same.
Ended up ordering:
Womens 6-AW, 4H, 5H
Men’s A flex MMT +1/2″ from women’s length.
1° flat
Standard grips Sonar + Wrap.
My Stealth Plus 3 wood continues to be worth its weight in gold! It’s so reliable off the tee and it gets up and goes off the deck too. Reaching Par 5’s in 2 or being within 20 yards is becoming the norm.
I have a stealth 3hl and 7 wood arriving tomorrow. Looking forward to testing them out.

Had some issues with the order so went back in. Glad that it happened as this time she didn’t have her A game swing with her.
Started over from scratch in a side bay and the fitter was stopping by checking as we went through sets again.
She gets tired towards the end of a round and she was today. The MMT were just too much for her and the 1° flat was causing some right issues.
Another Oem won out in a women’s set.
Actually glad as we get to support a company that is partnering with a big THP event coming up.
Will post pics of her bag at the range tomorrow before our round in another thread.
What a day
These have been sitting in my pro shop all year and I still haven’t hit them. Need to rectify that.
Which head is the best out of the bunch?
?

At least the shot was smoked down the middle!
I am loving the Stealth irons I got a few weeks ago. They look really stylish but most importantly I am hitting them really well. I think they have been an important part in the step up in my game.
Anyone gaming the Stealth irons (not the HD’s). Curious on feedback. I have tried them a couple times and loved the look but the launch and spin seemed aggressively low.
Saw that they took the most wanted GI iron 2 yrs in a row on another site and they don’t seem to be very pro TM over there so it got me to thinking. Are they really that good?
anyone picking up the stealth black irons?
So I put a steel shaft in the 5w for fun. It tightened up dispersion. Will keep it there for a while. Also picked up the stealth plus 13.5 rocket. Played 1 round with it. Great ballspeeds, good tee option around driver length if your not great with driver like me. Not very forgiving on the toe or low on the face.
