SeeMore Putters Thread

SeeMore Golf
Just got off the phone with John at SeeMore. I really enjoyed the conversation we had. I came out with a lot of info on the fitting process. I will be ordering my putter tomorrow. Just can't decide on a Si 2 or Si 3. He said I could go either way. Tough choice as I like them both but could only buy one.
 
With two FGP2 putters, I realized that I needed a SeeMore blade, if for no other reason, to wear the sexy THP headcovers I already have. Low and behold, I take a quick stroll down eBay Alley, and there for the low price of $49.99 (plus shipping) is a brand new Si2 just asking for a home, and needing a good headcover to snuggle into. Never one to leave a SeeMore out in the cold, I adopted that Si2, and it should be on it's way to Tennessee shortly.

DallasGolf was the seller and they allegedly had 4 more (34" RH) if anyone is looking to adopt one of their own.

Ad - I have looked at that putter on Ebay like five times since you posted it. I really want to OEM it and probably will.

Dang you! Look what you made me do now! I have 2 mFGP CS blades, 1 FGP Mallet and now a Si2...
 
Well...I did it. I also purchased a new Si2 off the bay for that ridiculously good price that Ad posted. Thanks for the heads up Ad. I can't wait to give a SeeMore a try, I've been wanting one for quite some time.

only 2 left... that's a steal of a price for a brand new Si2, and I like the black finish better, and with a new THP HC, it will be perfect!

My thoughts exactly. I had played around with some in the PGA SS a few weeks back, and the Si2 with the black finish was my favorite. I'm definitely a mallet guy, but every collection needs a few blades.
 
1 left now :clap:. Don't know why, but the used Si2 that DG was selling was $10 more than the new black one... Can't wait to get mine, first Si model. I don't like the look of the Si3, but the Si2 is very nice and similar to the M2 I've been eyeing.
 
Got my FGP blade in today and I'm really pumped, except for one small thing. The Iomic grip is covered in this really sticky glue type residue. I tried to clean it off, but it just keeps getting more and more disgusting. I sent John an email, just basically letting him know. It's not a huge deal because I can just regrip it but I just wanted to let them know just as a heads up. Doesn't change my perception of SeeMore any but it made me a little sad since I really don't have much time to regrip this week so I won't get to roll it until the weekend at the earliest.
 
Got a couple more Seemore headcovers in the mail yesterday and thought I'd line them up with the rest of my "loved" ones in my office:

I was in the same boat, but decided to go with the Si2 in nickel. The Si3 was out of stock till next week I believe. I just ordered mine this morning. Can't wait for it to come in!
 
I love my SeeMore. I was never comfortable with 10 footers but as long as I read the lline correctly, they're piece of cake for me now. I got my FGP for a good price too. $60 bucks? Yeah any day!

The leopard patterned one is the gold one - you can order them directly from SeeMore.

well, i was looking to get the Si3 only b/c i'm a HUGE fan of center shafted putters (see sig), as i've had my scotty newport 2.6 since it came out and have yet to find something roll better or inspire as much confidence as the sc. for the price point of the Si3 (or any SeeMore for the most part) i figured it was fail-proof.

Anyone have any specific feedback on the Si3 in regards to feel? distance control compared to milled/non-insert putters? sound? ya know, putter porn?...jk ha

I used to have an Si3 and gamed it for a bit gio. I'm for sure a fan of the insert, its pretty darn good IMO, but I'm also a milled putter guy and you can definitely tell a difference feel wise. However, as far as distance goes for me it was impressively close as was it with sound, alot of that, again IMO, is the firmness of the insert is just right and the "milling" on it really helps with the sound and the feel. I really thin you would come away quite impressed.

You may want to check out the SeeMore Putter testing thread that started last year. I think almost all if not all of the testers were testing the Si Series.
