I actually like this idea. My HCP is at a 9.2 now and my anti is at 19! I actually believe it does give something to strive for, that being consistency.

I like this idea, and have thought about it before, I think my Anti HC is probably higher than I want it to be.

The way I look at it, my anti-handicap being extremely high is a good thing. I am improving quickly enough that my current score are MUCH better than my scores a month ago. Therefore my handicap is dropping quickly, but i haven't knocked out those old high scoes yet, leaving me with a big gap between my handicap (scoring potential) and anti-handicap (where I was).

Fro me this may not be fair as when I go bad I just let it go bad and can easily shoot in the 90s. Next day i can be in the 70s. Rarely shoot my HC.
