TC awesome job in here dude. You are making me want to OEM a set.
I had a pretty decent day with the 11's yesterday. I sure am enjoying them at the moment and I feel like I'm finally hitting a nice stride with them. I didn't realize how much time it really takes to get aclimated to a new set of irons, especially ones that are fit to my specs as opposed to ones that are off the rack. One-T and I met up for a 27 hole marathon yesterday and my GIR's and my ball striking improved over every 9 which was nice. I really believe that these irons cater to so many golfers. They really aren't intimidating or difficult to hit at all. I worked quite a bit yesterday on hitting more club from shorter distances, while trying to flight the ball lower. I hit some nice shots by doing so but I had a difficult time converting on putts. I hit a beautiful 6iron on a 184 yard par 3 that was just staring down the flag stick. From the tee box, it looked all over the hole but it was about 20' past the hole. I 3 jacked it for a bogey. That was the story of my day to be honest. Where these irons really shine, IMO, is manipulating the flight of the ball. You want to hoist one up in the air? They'll do it. You want to knock one down? They'll do it.
So far, I'm very pleased and I can't wait to get more time under my belt with them.
Nice update dude. Seems to be some really nice offerings out right now and these have to be near the top for irons. I do look forward to hitting them come demo day.
Sounds like these are doing everything you need them to do, TC. I really like the looks of these, and from what you are saying, I need to put some swings on these soon, which will be this afternoon!I had a pretty decent day with the 11's yesterday. I am really impressed by the amount for forgiveness, responsiveness, feedback, and performance out of these irons. There is a cavity and some offest, but the head is pretty compact, so they don't look too much like shovels. The sound at impact is one thing that I love. The best way I can describe it is a thudd, that sounds like bass drum. Just builds confidence.
