Wilson Staff Ci11 Irons - PGA Show Video

I got a tracking number for my irons. They will be at my door tomorrow.

Woohoo! Very nice, Blu!

I've been playing with Ci7's for the past few years and I love them. If I do get some new sticks, I'll be trying the Ci11's before anything else. I wish Wilson would get to Northern California for a demo so I could get a fitting and do it right.

TC awesome job in here dude. You are making me want to OEM a set.

Thanks chunky. I appreciate that. Just sharing my thoughts on these. I think they are a special iron. I hit them well on Monday. I believe I'm still going through a slight adjustment period with them but I'm confident in them at this point. I just wish more people could get their hands on them. I suspect they'll be very popular after THP's demo day. I really do.

I'm still drooling over these above all other irons, even the i20s.

The new set showed up yesterday. I didn't have time to update the thread. But I do this morning.

They look better in person than any picture I have seen. They look fantastic all lined up in the bag.

They sure do look better in person! Very nice blu. Just wait until you get to hit them. Congrats on picking these up dude!

I hate these irons. They have a cavity, and yet they make me want them by lookin all sessy an stuff. How dare they.

Wilson really have put out some solid irons lately. I think these may be my favourites based on looks alone.

I am going to hit them today. Later this afternoon. I am so excited to feel the awesomeness and to throw headshots down range.

Looks great blu, let us know how the range goes. I need to get out and hit these bad.

Gotta love Ci11 porn...wow, those are gorgeous!

Congrats! awsome looking sticks! wow!

The more I look at these the more I like them. I am going to hit them next time I'm at the shop... You all pushing Wilson Staff upon me... sigh.

I hit them last night before, during, and after a lesson. I really enjoyed the feel of them. The TX Shaft is a mid launching shaft, but I was seeing some really nice spin and distance numbers. I am really happy about them.

The pro who I was taking the lesson with did have me check the lie angle on them, as I was hitting a lot of low draws. Guess what, I need to be 2* flat. I will have my babies bent, and it will be go time.

I had a pretty decent day with the 11's yesterday. I sure am enjoying them at the moment and I feel like I'm finally hitting a nice stride with them. I didn't realize how much time it really takes to get aclimated to a new set of irons, especially ones that are fit to my specs as opposed to ones that are off the rack. One-T and I met up for a 27 hole marathon yesterday and my GIR's and my ball striking improved over every 9 which was nice. I really believe that these irons cater to so many golfers. They really aren't intimidating or difficult to hit at all. I worked quite a bit yesterday on hitting more club from shorter distances, while trying to flight the ball lower. I hit some nice shots by doing so but I had a difficult time converting on putts. I hit a beautiful 6iron on a 184 yard par 3 that was just staring down the flag stick. From the tee box, it looked all over the hole but it was about 20' past the hole. I 3 jacked it for a bogey. That was the story of my day to be honest. Where these irons really shine, IMO, is manipulating the flight of the ball. You want to hoist one up in the air? They'll do it. You want to knock one down? They'll do it.

So far, I'm very pleased and I can't wait to get more time under my belt with them.

Nice update dude. Seems to be some really nice offerings out right now and these have to be near the top for irons. I do look forward to hitting them come demo day.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts. These could be right up Kmac's alley. I think they'll be a big hit.

Sounds like these are doing everything you need them to do, TC. I really like the looks of these, and from what you are saying, I need to put some swings on these soon, which will be this afternoon!

Sounds like you are swinging these pretty well there buddy.

TapAhoy!

No kidding? Indoors/Outdoors? I think as a guy who like the 2.0's, who now has J40's, you'll like them. To me, these are similar to the DPC's in that they offer the golfer a little more forgiveness my lengthening the iron head from heel to toe. Have fun!

I am really impressed by the amount for forgiveness, responsiveness, feedback, and performance out of these irons. There is a cavity and some offest, but the head is pretty compact, so they don't look too much like shovels. The sound at impact is one thing that I love. The best way I can describe it is a thudd, that sounds like bass drum. Just builds confidence.

And when you flush one, you feel nothing. The exoskeleton principle is awesome I think. I figured you'd like them. Wait until you get them bent and working for you.

Damn I wish there was a shop around here that I could hit these at. I need to search Wilson's website and call around. Doesn't help that I'm a lefty either.
