Memorial for the murdered jews of Europe
This is a couple of random pictures of the day i wanted to share, I took these when I lived in Germany and I visited Berlin for the first time. The memorial consists of 19000 square meters and has 2711 concrete slabs. It is designed to create a confusing atmosphere of the sobering fact that millions of people were murdered during the holocaust. It is a solemn experience and one can get lost within these massive concrete stones. Anyways I just wanted to share these, sorry they are really 4 random photos of the day it's just that I wanted to portray the massive area.
