2012 BMW Championship (SPOILERS)

TW and Rory both birdie their first hole. Looking forward to Live@ coverage starting in an hour.

furyk puttin' in work early, 3 under through 3. probably playing a little more relaxed and maybe a little confidence boost after getting the ryder cup nod

Watched Ben curtis hack one from the rough. Hit all of about 100 yards. That stuff is gnarly in places. Following Poults group right now. He hitting the ball well and that whole group is 2 under. Pins seem to be gettable on some holes.

Is it going to be coverage of only 2 or 3 holes on live@? I really hope its marquee group coverage.

Might see an ace on 13 today. Pin is in a little bowl that feeds from front to back and a little left to right. Very easy pin today.

Boom.. Back to back birds for Tiger on the first 2 holes. Need to get some buffer strokes to make up for the lackluster round he will have on Saturday!

Well he did have a pretty good weekend this past week, so maybe he can keep that momentum going. Tigger is looking strong though (so far).

Why does The Golf Channel insist on subjecting us to the LPGA during the playoffs? We have Rory and Tiger paired again today and tomorrow and we might get to see 12 or so holes total from them out of 36.

You'd think they could televise from noon-6 and then show the ladies on delay, like they often do for the web.com and Champions tours.

To beat it all, they are in a weather delay at Kingsmill.

Wouldn't mind them showing that 11 holes Paula Creamer has played though! Love me some PC!

Another dart for Tigger at 13. Less than 5 feet for his 3rd birdie in 4 holes.

It does not specify on their site, guess we will find out in about 15 minutes.

It says that their exclusive live coverage begins with a preview of the TW-Rory showdown, so I'd assume we see at least some of them.

tiger 3 under through 6 with a 6 footer for birdie on 7. He's Back

is the web stream going to show golf or just have a couple of teaching pro's talking about phil's putting grip?

Just finished work and checked the scores, this course is sorely in some need of viagra, poulter -5 through 10 and a whole bunch of folk freewheeling it.

If you can hit the fairway, its scoreable but if you can't good luck. Poults has looked really good so far. Hitting fairways and rolling it really well.

I like the manufactured drama of guys making the cut in the fedex cup. This week is where it really gets interesting with only 30 spots left. I surmise there will be some good golfers playing good golf who do not make it to east lake. you'll be interested on sunday, i'm tellin' ya....that is, if you're not watching football, which I also surmise you will be.

12 is the extremely long sharp dog leg left par 4, correct? with a creek and trees left so to carry the dog leg you're forced to hit a draw that carries 300 ish yards, so most long hitters hit 280 yard 3 woods to the corner leaving them with 200ish into the green? That hole looks like a beast, every other hole seems reasonably gettable

I love seeing an early leaderboard like this. Woods, Poulter, Rory and a host of great talent. Its what makes the playoffs unique.

d.a. points found himself short sided behind the green going down hill on a par 3. chopped it out and made bogey. his putt gave jb holmes the read he needed to make birdie. could be the difference between someone (maybe not even one of those two) making it in the top 30

After a quick lunch. Back out to follow Poults. Watching Poults and Curtis caddy at the concession stand getting some lunch...having to pay like regular folk...its classic.

seems like every shot is going long on 13 and that is gnarly. downhill down grain from there. it's where points made bogey from

Stupid me, I knew BVP was going to respond to not getting picked and I have him on the bench
