Hey hey....you can lead a horse to water doesn't mean it's gonna drink.... More wAter for the rest of the thirsty horses!!

Why do Southwest and Priority Club points make this almost a free trip for me? Just when I think I'm out...they pull me back in.

hey you said all events were fair game....its an OMEN

This was a definite for me prior to getting in the Adams Event and the Morgan Cup (NEVER expected that). Just not sure I want to fly three times in 5 weeks (yes I do). Warm weather, the sun, beautiful golf course, and a bunch of awesome THPers...why not?

Love seeing this buddy, so much fun to be had for those that choose to make the trip!

I am bummed that I am not going to be able to make it. Too much going on at work in the week prior and following this event

That's too bad Taylor, you'll be missed!

Anxious to see how many of the DFW crew get in on this, way too close to miss for me!

I have a feeling this is going to be the easiest event to punch your ticket to the championship. Since nobody from Alabama or Arkansas seems all that interested and LA has only 2 coming it appears, the number could be crazy low and give a great chance for some awesome prizes, Hall of Fame and ticket to the big dance at PGA National.

It would hurt to not see this sellout, not gonna lie. Excited for tomorrow and anxious to see how the signups go. A guaranteed spot into the championship which will be a HIGHLY coveted ticket is HUGE and I'm certainly playing to win!

I think it will sellout! Maybe no instant sell-out, but comon there aren't that many of these invitationals each year!

I am also shocked we don't have a ton of local people trying to get in on this.

I really want to make this trip. LA is an awesome place.

You going to jump in? This is going to be a good one. Such a unique setting for a THP event.

Im pondering this one. I use to live in Abbeville La. It's about 1.5 hours from Lake Charles. Use to go to a pier in L.C. as a kid. What great memories.

Amphibians can Tapatalk... Fear the Frog!

I like it Jeremiah, make it happen!! Get out of that stupid snow. :)

I'm on the edge of the pool, just need someone push me in! Haha

I'd have to drive, but I wouldn't have to get a room bc I have friends in Lafayette I want to visit as well. This course looks great and I really want a shot at a round at PGA National.

So, I got a pretty excited text from Bogey saying he thought he was going to make this one. Not exactly sure how I can resist seeing one of my best friends now. I may be reserving my spot later than others, but I think I'll make the journey in.

yeah, it looks like I can make this happen.

I love how theres a block of rooms reserved this year. Be tons of THPers in the same hotel to party it up at night!

Spoke with the friend I'll be staying with last night. He said there is a ton of road construction going on now to prepare for traffic associated with the new casino that's going up right next to L'auberge. It shouldn't be an issue while we're there unless someone is running late & gets stuck in traffic on the bridge.

BTW, if you're driving in from Houston, be prepared for the I-210 bridge into the city. If you're riding shotgun with someone, you can get some pretty cool pics going over it coming into the city. L'auberge will be on the left & the Calcasieu river & Prien Lake will be on the right.

Another protip for the course. DO NOT get caught in the sprinklers if they come on for some reason while your on the course. I was told that the casino is required to use the grey water on the course to get rid of it. That's why the course can be pretty wet even in a summer drought. The new casino is having to build a golf course for this purpose as well. It could be even nicer than Contraband Bayou when completed because parts of it will border the river. You can see the beginnings of the course & casino now on google maps.

Good luck tomorrow everybody. Can't wait to see who will be joining us.
