Safe travels guys, all the best

What's the deal with the tunnel? Are tunnels just not as common down there as they are up here, therefore a little more nerve wracking? I'm genuinely curious, not trying to be a jerk.

Tunnels are not common this way at all. In fact, I can't think of a single tunnel in Florida. We have tons of overpasses and highways, but no tunnels.

That's what I thought...but you guys always say there's no dumb question on THP. :)

There are no dumb questions, just lack of common sense I guess. ; ) I'm kidding of course, but safety says, you always stop.

Ah, gotcha. Tunnels up here are fun, especially once you get close to New York City and the crazy drivers come out.

Morgan would be proud... Made that tunnel my b*tch :)

Sorry mods!

This thread got intense quick!!

Enjoying that dude driving down the middle of the two lanes hahaha - Were it a big red van doing the same I could totally see it. Silly Ward.

Good job! I am very proud.

Thought it'd be a bigger issue. The bridge before it was a little issue cause it was pretty windy. Little white knuckle driving, no big deal.

This thing on the skyway though... noooooo sir

I didn't want to say anything, but the bridges are always the scariest. How's the GPS doing?

Would love to see some pics of it, and how it's helping you guys navigate your way to Lake Charles.

EDIT: Here's the thread if you want to update it http://www.thehackersparadise.com/forum/showthread.php?53578-Magellan-Roadmate-RV-9365T-LMB-Review.

When I lived there, there were accidents two consecutive weeks at the entry of that tunnel where a truck carrying cattle got stuck.

The good old Bayway...drove across it in a tropical storm and was "turning" the car non-stop on a straight road...ok, the roadway reminiscing will cease now.

Still stopping in MS for the night?

There's a milkshake bar with their name on it. I don't think they will pass that up haha. I know I wouldn't. Super jealous!

Skip that and opt for DQ!

Haven't fully caught up on this yet, but wanted to wish everyone safe travels!

In a casino no doubt...double no pass lines.
