I remember this thread from last year, and it was pretty fun.

Masters Champions Dinner is this evening. If you were the champion, what would you serve?

I'll start:

My version of surf and turf -- filet stuffed with lump crab and served with a blue cheese sauce

Roasted, then fried, new potatoes

arugula salad with roasted beets, blue cheese and walnuts

Krispe Kreme bread pudding -- I just have to have some doughnuts in there.

To drink, several reds from the Paso Robles region of California.

So -- what do you have?

One option would be a coffee rubbed sirloin topped with goat cheese, bacon, and a maple drizzle, served with a side of garlic mashed pots and broccoli.

Another (is this cheating? I'm doing 2) would be a breast of chicken over sweet potato mash with sautéed kale and a red wine feta Demi glacé.

Your choice of garden, Greek or Cobb salad.

Homemade apple pie with French vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Smoked brisket and dry rub ribs, baked beans, jalapeño wrapped bacon stuffed with cream cheese, cheese grits, collard greens, Cole slaw and Arnold Palmers. Peach cobbler and apple pie for desert both with a reduced bourbon glaze

Freddie pretty sure yours and mine would be very similar. Man that sounds delicious.

Chicken parm, bread pudding for desert

Mac and cheese, southern fried chicken, biscuits. For desert, baked alaska.

Hamburgers and hot dogs. I like to keep things simple.

I am going pulled pork BBQ, mac and cheese, baked beans and fried apples. Dessert... I have to go warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and then some banana pudding!

I want plenty of beer as well... go ahead and add a few Tom Collins with gin.

A selection of Italian Beef, deep dish pizza, and Hooters chicken strips. And beer. No dessert.

Everyone could choose their favorite MRE, and we could eat like the troops for one night.

Appetizers - Mozzarella Caprese and veal bacon
Main Course - Veal/chicken Picatta with angel hair pasta
Dessert - Kahlua/Heath Bar Trifle
Drinks - Keg of yuengling

-2 small Blackened Mahi Mahi fish tacos with Broccoli slaw, mango salsa, and greek yogurt instead of sour cream
-1 Petite Filet Mignon no sauce
-Cream corn creme brûlée
-Cream Spinach
-Mint chocolate chip ice cream
-La crema Pinot Noir
-Single malt Macallans

I would struggle with this decision. I could play it safe with prime rib and fixings, or stretch for some high quality sushi, or some salmon... Mmmmmm... Oooooh - a low country boil would be great, too.

I like so many different foods, thus my struggle.

Deep fried perch. Coleslaw. French fries. Brady old fashions and pilsners. That's a typical Wisconsin Friday night right there.

A bit of surf and turf action myself but with a southern flare. Fresh herb grilled grouper over cheese grits topped with Fried Green Tomato with a green tomato vinaigrette drizzle, along side a 4oz filet medallion, Fried okra. Blackberry cobbler for desert.

Boy this is always tough. But here goes, based solely on how I feel about it today.

For a salad, it's going to be a primarily iceberg lettuce and romein hearts chef's salad.
Lightly seasoned fresh salmon.
Some form of pasta with shrimp and mussels, and a light lemon and garlic sauce.
Butter injected rolls straight from Fogo de Chao.
Wild rice.
New York Style Cheesecake with strawberries, and two scoops of burnt sugar ice cream.
And to drink, I really want to go with Ed's Red (a texas merlot), but that would just be a travesty with seafood. So instead, it's going to be a Pinot Grigio that is light on the oak.

Not gonna be healthy, but it sure would be tasty: Appetizers consisting of fried pickles and bacon wrapped scallops. Entree of southern fried chicken, twice baked potatoes, cream corn, mac & Cheese and black eyed peas. Desserts consisting of pecan pie, red velvet cake, and peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Beverages would be sweet tea, Arnold Palmer's and coke products.
