I fixed my bricked S4! Oh man it was really close there for a while. No more phone tinkering for me.

Ricky where is your pink tutu? Happy birthday to the little one! Great month to have a birthday.

Hahaha man I'm glad you fixed it!! Didn't we just talk about this? I couldn't bring myself to do it and now I think I'm glad I didn't lol

Haha I know man, too confident and look what happened. I had to read threads on XDA ALL DAY yesterday it was horrible. Went to last night with a bricked phone and woke up this morning determined to fix it. If you do decide to tinker read read read and read that was my problem. Samsung really locked down the S4.......

Thanks, exactly the worst part was the dirty looks from my wife and her comments, "You know you should be doing that stuff to your phone!" "You are not getting a new one!" hahaha

Cast is OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

And I have been given the green light to start putting immediately.

The bone is still broken (you can still see the break on X-ray), but healing. I have a removable splint and will have agressive PT with a hand specialist over the next 6 weeks, but expect to be 100% on August 28!

Haha....what's 5 days right? Oof. It's pretty sore today now that the cast is off, and I wouldn't even think of swinging a club. Maybe I'll have a better idea once PT starts?

I've been putting up better and better scores since the visit to Dana Upshaw a couple weeks ago.
I don't want this to be a super long post so I'll be quick.
I had gone in for one thing, but he stopped me after a few swings and made me watch video of my swings, frame by frame almost. Basically, and this shocked me more than you will be when you read it, my swing is pretty solid right now. He showed me freezes from address position and ball impact and the shaft in my club was just about dead on the same line. He also showed me that I had quite a bit of lag built up at impact, something I thought I had to work on. Now, the funny part, because you won't believe it (well, you'll believe one part!), he said he has probably never seen someone of my, ummm, fluffiness, have such a solid swing plane and lag.

He showed me much more, but to keep it short, I'll just say that when you know, and have seen video proof of such, your swing is solid, you can go at the game with a whole bunch more confidence. Today, I felt like I could almost just walk up and hit shots. I didn't have to think about if I was doing anything wrong, moving my feet, moving ball position, nothing. I could just relax, and swing my swing.

Watch out #Gauntlet, Mr. Toad has found something!:egyptian:

Congrats Ricky! My move is 99% complete, no work and all golf for the next week plus 2! Going to be a great grind.
