When I volunteer, we're required to wear khakis.

Khaki has its place... and I prefer them with pleats and in a nice crisp, lightweight dress fabric. I have on a pair of khaki (tan) slacks with reverse pleats in an almost linen type fabric right now, paired with an orange polo, light brown belt and loafers. I think it looks good, and classy.

Mine are Ralph Lauren, but they are similar to Tommy Bahama. I bought a pair of Tommy B's slacks a couple of years ago in dk blue raw silk. Best feeling pants I ever owned and they hung perfectly. I wish I hadn't gained 20# so I could still wear them.
