Ref is handing cards out like she's Oprah. Then again, Nigeria is playing a little dirty so I'm not surprised at all.

I'd have to think those came after a warning about style of play or something. The first she went in with both feet out - that'll usually do it. But the second wasn't so bad. Could have been a situational thing, since she was clearly taking her out to prevent a pretty open shot.

US actually looks worse with the advantage.

Hopefully they step up their game. Wambach needs to decide if she is going to go all out or continue this "the turf is stopping us from scoring and she would normally dive or slide more on grass" crap

I think this ref is way too quick with the yellow card. The Colombians are know for this embellishment to draw calls. US has to play cautious now which isn't a good thing.
 
If Colombia keeps this pace of play past the hour mark I will be surprised.

Yup both were Fouls but not yellows regardless if the players are carrying cards or not.
