Your first step to move from beginner OEM was to get something you never hit and you did it with the SuperFast. Youre making progress. Another club and you might be moving to the next level of OEM.

sweet! i've earned my first OEM sticker of approval, hahaha. you know how bad i want these irons.

Theyre some solid wedges! I was really surprised by the performance and spin they gave me

the only problem is that i would have to order them, and i may upgrade the shafts so i'm not so sure. plus, you usually get ping'd pretty bad trading things in around here. i may be better off trying to sell the 22's outright but then i'd be without clubs for a while and i don't like that.

you know what's funny? i was google'ing some reviews and info about the Ci9's last night and came across a review on golfwrx, and 3/4 of the forum members on that site bashed the crap out of the irons, mostly b/c of the way that they look. not a one of them had even hit them, they were just making fun of them. thank god for THP.

Ive come across the same crap doing some Google research myself and from the same site. Talk about a joke. Can you at least hit something before you bash it? And whats wrong with the looks? I think they look pretty good! And I Know how much you want them! But youre right, trading yours in you'll take a big hit. Maybe someone will want them and you can get more $$$ that way

LOL, the reason that they are hated so much over there is that the topline isn't razor sharp and they aren't designed for the 350 yard driving, +6 handicap.

Seriously, for game-improvement sticks, the Ci7's are a sleek looking. I am kind of partial to them in comparison to the Ci9's (in looks), but I think both are attractive looking.

yeah, i'm just not sure i want to part with them. they were my first set that was fit to me, that i pondered over that i just had to have. plus there's a little part of me that is holding out hope that callaway will come out with a LH version of the diablo forged (that setho seriously needs to post pics of). i'll admit it, i'm a bit of a fanboy when it comes to callaway irons. but i did find a site last night that i can custom order me a set of Ci9's from (+3/4, 2* up) for $499.

any lefty THP'ers interested in a set of X-22's with bada** shafts in them?

I love the way my Ci7's look. I feel bad leaving them in the garage but I can't part with what I have been playing now. They are a little tougher to hit but so sweet when you do. I'm partial to the looks of the 7 too but I've hit the 9's and thought they were amazing. Didn't get a long time to hit them but very very nice.

I feel bad that mine are sitting unused too, but I'm the same as you in that I'm hesitant to disrupt what I have going now. I'm hoping that I can get them some course time again next year. I've been tempted to give them another shot lately since I've been swinging better, but I want the next time they get off the bench to be special lol.

Lol I feel the same way!!!!!! I can't even step in the garage without feeling guilty though.

I was kinda dissappointed when demoing the ci9 to the x-22 tours. x-22 were longer, more constant and accurate... but that was just my results.

hmm, i demo'd the Ci9's side by side with the following irons (all 6 irons):

cally X-22 tour
Titleist AP1
Titleist AP2
Cleveland CG7 BP
Cleveland CG7 BP tour
Cobra S2
Ping i15
Ping g15
Nike Machspeed
Nike split cavity
Srixon i-701

and the Ci9's were on par with the machspeeds in the distance department, both of which were the longest of all of the above for me. i just liked the ball flight and feel of the FST shafts and i was sold. i never thought that they wouldn't been as good as they were.

i loved the 22 tours as well, but i just was shocked with the wilson's.

TC definitely did his homework on these, no doubt about that. I hope they are at the outing this fall.

Id love to see these at the outing too. Just got the tracking info for the TW9 wedge!

TW9 or CG 15's? hmmm

I want new grips. I like my Tour Velvets, but this would be a great opportunity to try something new now that I think about it.

Or Jaws??? Dammit man

Tw9 a very close 2nd...he already had the xft in his bag at the time

No I had the Jaws in my bag already. I added the XFT after.

You dont like the new decades? Im in love with them. For some reason I never considered them until I saw a club with it down in FL. Now theyre on all my clubs but the 3W.

lmao, check out the home page. Thats some funny sheet right there. http://us.loudmouthgolf.com/

you'd think I would have remembered that...my mistake

And I did my best not to be biased too. It would have been easy to justify my purchase with a Jaws victory in the shootout but the XFT and the TW9 were just better.
