The best shot of the round

Congrats Spivey!!

Had 115 to a back pin. Smooth 50° to 3". Second birdie of the day.

6 iron from 170 to 15 feet. 2 putt for par on the hardest hole at the course.

Had two shots of the day. First was 190 par 3 into the wind, hit my XR Pro 4 hybrid high and soft to about four feet, made the putt. Pic because it did happen!

Then on 18, hit a decent drive and had 150 uphill into wind. Hit an 8i to about 6 inches, tap in for second birdie.

I pulled my tee shot on the par 3 17th yesterday and had about 50' for birdie. The putt went up a hill over a ridge and then down to the hole. It must have had about 4' of left to right break. As blind luck would have it I made the putt for my 2nd birdie of the day.

Playing in the first round of my club's Match Play event on Friday I pitched in for eagle on a par 5....had about 45 yards to the pin....hit a flighted SW that took 2 hops and dribbled into the cup!

Unfortunately I lost the match 2&1.....this year we are doing the "pool groups" like the PGA did at the Dell Match play, so I still have at least 2 more matches to go.

Best shot of my rounds yesterday had to be the 30 foot downhill left to right breaker that rolled in dead center for birdie. One of the only putts I hit all day, but that one was a good one.

Congrats on the HIO Spivey!

The best shot of the round

Played with a buddy who was a long drive guy in his younger days. His longest on the grid in competition was 393 (!) but that was years ago.

On #8 I put one 290y out down the middle. He got nostalgic and tried to out drive me but ripped it hard left into the next FW :)

Hole #9 at Fox Hollow canyon is 375 yd par 4. Down hill, down wind I ripped the subzero.

Back fringe was result, left the eagle putt one ball to the right

Congrats on the ACE Spivey!

So, I had just come off eagle on the 16th hole. The 17th plays 285 but is over water so the smart play is left with an iron and then across.

I said forget that and hit driver. Landed surprisingly soft and stopped 8 feet from the hole, pin high.

Eagle two holes in a row!!!! Unreal! Not sure I'll ever do something like that again but it was awesome.

I'll be attempting that shot end of may :)

Last weekend, we had a downhill par 3 playing 167 over water with a rock wall facing.

I hit a nice high 7 iron that while in the air you just thought "that is the exact shot I wanted to hit.."
It was on a great line.....then caught some wind....

Off the rocks, high bounce.....into water.

Put the drop zone shot to 3" for bogey.

Both good shots IMO.

Best shot yesterday...hmmm.

Would have to be on a par 5. Drive left me 200 out and I put 5 iron to 40 feet for an eagle try. Easy 2 putt birdie. Pretty happy with that for my first time out since injury.

The hybrid shot in this picture:

This approach is to an elevated green that has two tiers and the flag was on the back tier

Hit the hybrid landed it on the first tier rolled it up to the second had a 20 ft birdie putt. Two putt par.

Close second was a 20 yd bunker shot to 3 ft converted for the par

I would have to say a 3W was involved on one and a wedge on another. Especially on KC720'S course those two shots made me happy.

When? You liar lol.

290 uphill to flag on #9, and you drilled that TEE 3w to back of the green. That was a nice one!

Awesome shot Dave!
