The Official Banter Away Thread

I just want like.. two weeks of not scalding and not windy/cold.
Amen... I'll fix that for you... This weekend is cooling off up here and high 60s next week.

We're going to get half an inch of rain here in Cincy though.. Screws the weekend plans of casual carts on fairways..

Played in a 5 some today due to schedule mix up. No problem I’m easy. Guy behind us is crying before we even get going. I said no problem just play through. Then he complained about that and promptly informed me that he played in 3.5 hours the day before. We finished in 4:15 which is dead on course pace. I wasn’t aware golf is a race.
We play in a five some fairly regularly at our course and we have the first tee time of the day. The starter knows us very well and is quick to tell anyone behind us that complains "if you can catch them they will let you through". It doesn't happen very often if at all.

Tomorrow's my day off and there's a 90% chance of rain. I played my second 18 of the day last Friday in a constant drizzle. I'm not doing it two Fridays in a row.

Yeah only a twosome in carts caught us and we had them play through.

Do inanimate objects have feelings?

I ask because I've been having trouble with my 2 stroke leaf blower. I held off a long time, but after throwing a bunch of parts at it I decided to buy a Dewalt cordless blower/trimmer kit as a backup while they still had them available. Last night I was using my gas trimmer and the recoil broke:facepalm:. Did it feel threatened?

Holy crap it's a miracle, finally got to book a round for saturday!!

Who did the St. Paul cops kill to prompt these riots and looting?

I went to war with the Jersey tee time system last week. Barely managed to get a 7:04am tee time. The other two guys we were hoping to play with couldn’t even get on the course. It’s madness!

I mean my local course has plenty starting at 1 or so.. not too shabby for $30 too, but definitely not a nice course either

I was more surprised that the stars aligned: no plans, no projects, good weather, availability
