Ocean city is underrated. Great golf there and plenty to do there at night(seacrets) it would be a perfect weekend for families in the summer

It'd be great there actually. Get VA, NJ, maybe Ny, and PA people. Great course choices and good nightlife and easy to tell the wife that there is a beach/plenty to do while golf is being played

Not sure Bethpage can happen as I believe you have to make a $50,000 donation in order to host an event at Bethpage. I know that number only because it came up in a recent conversation with Shankasorous.

But if it did, I would be there in a heartbeat.

Actually, it's $100,000 if you want the Black Course.

They are not near us here in upstate NY (where it snowed for most of the day today), but if the words "New Orleans" or "San Francisco" were uttered I'd be calling my travel agent before I stopped reading the post.

Turning Stone Casino Resort. It's in Verona NY. In the Rome and Utica area just off the I90. Not sure that area has a big enough following to justify a big event like this, but it would be freaking awesome if they did decide to go there.

Dinosaur is beyond amazing. Talking with Amsmith61 I didn't realize it but I guess a PGA Tour Superstore is in that area as well. Would be awesome!

Has there ever been a THP event here? If you want amazing BBQ, there is no place like Texas. Oh, and we have some pretty good golf here, too. To tie the two together, I work about 2 minutes from TPC Four Seasons in Las Colinas. There is a local restaurant called "FM Smokehouse" that will blow your mind. Upscale, gourmet-type menu of smoked brisket, pulled pork, and the most delicious, crumbly smoked sausage you'll ever have. A beer and scotch menu that puts jsut about every other place I've ever been to shame... bring an event to the area and I'll have a chat with the owner about a player's party
