Paul Azinger will no longer be the lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, ending his five years with the network at the Ryder Cup without even knowing that was his final event.

As did I. They can’t all be great in the booth all the time, but when you have to compete against… Dan Hicks… I mean the bar is only so high to begin with.

Been lucky enough to follow Zing his whole career - at times his commentary lacked, I admit. Off the course - dedicated family man = rare these days.

I didn't mind 'Zinger, they could do worse. I wouldn't hate it if they brought in Paige Mackenzie or Morgan Pressel to fill the chair, I enjoy listening to both of them.

I only ever heard ppl complaining about his commentary. I listen on Sky so that's a bit different but for those who wanted him out a big congrats and enjoy the upcoming season!
