They were a promotional item for the launch, I got them from one of the guys I met in Carlsbad when I worked for Golfsmith.

Those course names bring back memories. Played them many times growing up as we did family vacations there for a week every summer. Took my own family down a few times when the kids were younger. Been about 10 years since I've golfed there. Need to get down there again.

I read somewhere that Nicklaus always carried three pennies to mark his ball, so that's what I've always used, in part because I'm sure I'd lose cool ball markers eventually. I keep them in a little plastic film container (remember those?) in my bag.
