Dan, I'm with you on the face/crown color. The Black on black is a big negative to me. I thought it was an issue only because of indoor lighting, but even when I got to hit the DBD outside I found it hard to delineate the face from the crown
I do really really like the Aldila Rogue Silver so I'd have to see considerable improvement from the Speeder to make the switch permanently.
Based on the performance of the Speeder in my old Bertha and the Rogue Silver in the 815 I'd go with the Rogue, but that's just me and I really like the feel of the Rogue. Don't get me wrong, the Speeder is a solid shaft but has always felt a little more boardy to me. I can feel the load and transition so much better in the Rogue.
I'm gonna give the Speeder a go in the 815 soon and we'll see how it goes.
No love for the Diamana S+ from anyone?
Not a good fit, or is just not the sexy new shaft on Tour (or something like it) like the Rogue is?

Pretty amazing how forgiving this club is. Just long and forgiving.
The results from a misshap shows. I know when I hit the ball where I hit itHow do you see the forgiveness from the chart?
Does anyone have a chart or link to how the different weights will affect the set up?
What shaft did you get in the 815?Oh yeah! Just received the shipping confirmation from Callaway regarding my Alpha 815, along with V Series 3 and Heaven woods. Looks like they will arrive in south GA about middle of next week!

I am leaning to that shaft as well, I look forward to hearing your thoughts on itSpeeder 665 stiff. Got that same shaft in the fairways also.
Congrats, looking forward to seeing how you get along with it.
