That basically brings me to staying with the stock Rotex or the Recoil 95 which would the slightly heavier and I could go F3 in that or even F2 if I want them to play softer.
Anyone know the specific differences between the 95 and the Rotex since both are UST made? I’m guessing the 95 will be a softer tip while being 5g more. I would be getting a 54 and 58 with the majority of its use being for chipping within 20 yards of the green.

The Rotex is around 90g but there is no published information I can find about the profile on them other than the fact they come in wedge flex. Maybe I’m wrong but I assume UST defines the wedge flex as between a regular and stiff flex. So I’m assuming that the Recoil 95 in F3 will be slightly heavier but softer flex based what I’ve seen.
Since the 780 Recoil I have should be around 82g, both shafts will be slightly heavier but I’d like to understand the flex profile for chipping in relation. I’ve not had experience with the 95 in a wedge so I’m curious how they compare to each other.

Going to order a CBX2 56* today.
I'm just waiting to receive my RBG credits, and then that is precisely what I'm ordering.Jman;n8881921 said:I need to just order a 48/54 already.
JB;n8881639 said:Wedge flex is not really between stiff and regular, but its owned designated flex. It was done because shaft lengths in wedges are shorter, and therefore with steel shafts, played rather stiff.
In my opinion, the Recoil 95s play MUCH stiffer than the Rotex, which plays light to flex.

I found it versatile enough for a 50, it allowed me to open the face enough to be able to hit comfortably out of bunkers and definitely worked around the greens. Sounds pretty damn similar to what you say with the 52. Go order more lofts because I'm dying for more thoughts.

I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the 60. I've held off on ordering a RTX-4 because the CBX 2 intrigues me.Jman;n8887790 said:48/54/60, going to bend and shaft to match my RTX4 then do some side by side work. Will make for a fun long term article I think!
