Looks like you have been getting out a lot lately, wish I could have done the same. I have spent all of my spare time prepping for #TheCup, once the cup is over I will be going on a trip for some Stream Therapy
Yeah, Ive needed it. Been playing so much golf that Ive started to burn out a bit so Im taking a break to recharge the batteries. Where do you fish when you get the chance?

I'm from Michigan so I spend a majority of my time Fishing different stretches of The Au Sable River, the Pier Marquette, slack waters of the Manistee, and I have a couple small stream honey holes all in Michigan's lower Peninsula

Nice fish! All those lake run browns or are they river residents?

Those are all river resident browns caught on the Trophy water stretch of the Au Sable

Man those are some serious hogs, I've been wanting to hit the Au sable for a long ime

Since golf isnt fun right now, thought that I might as well keep on fishin. Stopped on my way home from work in Basalt and fished stretch of the Roaring Fork River that runs through town.

I missed more than I caught but I still landed a dozen and a half or so. The two highlights are below: an 18" brownie and a 20" rainbow. Lost a 'bow that went 20+ too. He got into the current and was gone. Great way to kick off the weekend

Damn, those are great fish. I need to get out but it's been dry and hot here, the rivers are a little low and warm and stressing the fish is probably not a good idea right now

Yeah, summer time fishing out east is a different beast. Those warm water days were the times Id go small stream brookie fishing.

Runoff is just ending here so our season is just getting started. Green Drakes are currently coming off, which is the unofficial start of summer fishing.

Had my dad and brother out visiting me last week and we spent 7 days cruising the rockies and fishing every river we could. We hit the Big Thompson, Blue River, Fraser River, The Colorado, The Fryingpan, and Roaring Fork Rivers. We took a tour through Rocky Mountain National Park as well as taking a dip in various hot springs along the way. Such a great week and I miss these trips with those two so much!

Fished the Blackstone River in Alberta, Canada last week for the first time. The water was a little muddy due to rain, fishing wasn't great, but such a beautiful spot!!

I was out in Colorado and Arizona last week and man did I see some beautiful water out there.

If I ever go back I'm bringing a rod.
