True Story:

Mward was teeing off as part of the 2nd group yesterday and asked if it was clear to hit. Shakey says yes and that if he was able to reach the group in front of him that he would buy Wardy dinner.

Ward says "ok, that's the motivation I need" or something like that.

Takes his big hard cut at the ball and barely catches the bottom of the driver thin and the ball takes off no higher than 4 feet off the ground.

Turns and says "I hit a stinger".

Only a Tiger lover would claim that in that moment. It was hilarious.

Today is gonna be interesting for sure. We played around 6700 yards yesterday off the gold tees which were pushed back as far as possible.

Add in balls that would land and stop leaving mud on the ball meant little roll for most drives.

Last night at BWW we were greeted with a serious downpour and strong winds.

Course will be wet and slow this morning - carrying drives in the air will be crucial.

Thinking I got my bad golf out of the way yesterday, really looking forward to what awaits today - fun will be had because that's priority number ONE!

Anyone up for a great greasy spoon diner breakfast? I'm thinking about heading over to KD's Diner (240 West Prien Lake). It's some good grub.

Going to grab a shower 1st. Probably get there around 7ish.
 
Ready to go. This is going to be a fantastic day. The format is going to be something new for me and I'm really looking forward to it. As always at THP events, a fun day will be had by all.

I think some of us are gonna grab breakfast at the hotel at 7 before meandering our way to the course.
