Hello, all. I turned 40 in April and decided it was time to get back to golf after about 20yrs of not playing at all. I picked up an old set of beater clubs off Craigslist a couple of weeks ago - irons are Cleveland TA-5 tours, several random wedges, and a dinosaur Ray Cook putter that I can putt surprisingly well with. I added a Jetspeed 17deg 3 wood, and am planning on getting a 4 hybrid when the money tree out back starts budding again. I've had to come up with my own makeshift swing because of a bad right knee, so have really only done range time right now trying to get it dialed in... am pretty confident from about 120yds-in and especially on the green, still kind of have the yips further out but am getting more consistent.
I have been reading posts and pointers on this site for a while, joining just seemed like the next logical step. Am sure I can improve my game, and even if not, am sure can improve my day by partaking in or calling some shenanigans on here. :joy:
