Did you remove old paint in holes or just go over? Also what paint did you use to get the gloss finish?50* drying after the new paint.

Here's a better look at the paint job, looks pretty cool:
The blue line with melting "ice" was the hardest part of this job

I'm working on jacks old wedge it is currently all pink
Note that I'm using acetone paper towels and paint markers, that's all I need

So this is my finished product, i think I'm going to redo the blue loft numbers they didn't come out as good as I wanted them to, I think the turf interaction made the numbers a bit shallower haha anyways I love the whole red white and blue US open scheme that all my clubs have. When I finish med school and I can afford forged irons, I'll paint them the same color hahahaha

I just found all my clubs in at my parents house today, I haven't golfed in over 3 years because of time and finishing graduate school. I these damn paint fills I once did and don't remember how I used to do them hHa.
I need to get into golf again
Dude that came out fantastic.I recently bought an old, in okay condition Scotty Newport Two TEi3 off of TeedupThoughts in the marketplace. Just wanted to share with you guys. I used aircraft remover from autozone because I couldn't find Tal-strip, it worked well and removed all the paint in no time. I then sanded everything down for what felt like forever, going in steps from 400 grit to 1000 grit. I used Caswell Black Oxide on the putter it worked well I'm happy with the blackness (?) of the putter. Used Testors enamel for the paintfill. I wish someone had told me how awful the copper paint was, everytime I would go to clean up the extra copper paint on the club it would go everywhere!!! Overall I'm happy with my first restoration, I feel like with practice they will start coming out even better. I also got a new shaft to go on the putter, a Scotty matador grip for it and a Scotty handcrafted shaft band for it, this should be my gamer for awhile. I wouldn't have tried it if I never stumbled on this thread though, thanks guys!!
