Scotty Cameron putters

The BOS head was restored to original...will admire that one. The other one was done by Peter using his no maintenance black oxide finish. It doesn't need oil and will not rust PERFECT to game on fast greens.

They looks great, what is the ongoing maintenance for the BOS original finish? Did they take out any nicks and dents the putter had before refinishing it?

Well my Newport Select 2 (2016 I believe) will be here tomorrow and my first foray into the world of Scotty.

Likely regrip then 36 holes awaits this weekend. Let’s see if the hype is founded. :)

Eager to try out the new lineup when it hits stores on March 30th. Trigger will be pulled on a Newport 2 if it isn't too soft feeling.

Ongoing maintence is to oil the finish and most importantly keep it dry. No damp headcovers and don't let it sit with any water on it...rust comes quick!
On the other hand Peter's finish is worry free. Which is why I am gaming it. Assembled it over the weekend and can't wait to put it in play.
I put the black ping putterman pistol grip that Tiger has on his on it. and it looks great.

That’s awesome, love the idea of the Ping grip. Think I’ll send mine to BOS but I’d need to game it. Any particular oil you use?

Well finished the paint job with the teslors paint but don’t like how the three dots turned out, more of a matte finish. Looking at picking up some tamiya clear to put over and give it more of a gloss finish. Has anyone else tried this?

Thanks. I'm a big fan of that style too. I had a Del Mar and sold it a few years ago and regretted it ever since. I was happy to see the lefty Newport 3 added to this year's line-up.
