This is the cinnamon cream syrup from the famous Pancake Pantry in Nashville. It is literally heaven.

Finally was able to go to the Daniel Boone Inn in Boone, NC to eat. It’s a family style restaurant that serves Southern food. Tonight’s menu was homemade vegetable soup, fried chicken, country style steak, country ham biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, cole slaw, slow stewed apples, plain biscuits, and sweet tea! For dessert, you could choose between chocolate cake, stawberry shortcake, or peach cobbler. It was absolutely delicious! If you’re in the mountains of NC, I highly recommend you stop and eat!

I think my heart just seized up and died but I’m ok with that!

Kids are at a dance competition so wife and I came to Disney Springs to kill some time. Got coffee and splitting a donut before brunch here at Everglazed, which just opened. The donut is a Brooklyn Blackout and is amazing. Coffee is great as well.

Been Deep South. Have tried CFS everywhere. This is still the best.

The breakfast burrito topped with beer cheese from the Goat in Nashville.

There is a whole lot going on here, but looks great.
Eggs, potato, chorizo, black beans and then beer cheese.

That burrito looks like a great way to start the day, then proceed to nap AND THEN finally get on the go. No golf clubs could be swung, or any physical activity performed directly after that!

I made cheat day count. JB got the Burrito, I got a dish with a hash brown cake topped with fried green tomatoes, topped with pork belly topped with an egg and then topped with beer cheese and hot sauce. It was awesome.

It was a good food porn day. Buca di Beppo and we stopped by earlier at Villa Italia bakery in Schenectady! Best rainbow cookies I ever had!
I love some Bucca!

We went out for the wife's birthday and a friends wife's birthday to a local hot spot. A little pricey but amazing food. I tackled the 32oz tomahawk... because I had never had one and why not. :D20210430_204802.jpg

Went to a place right down the street and had the blueberry lasagna. Life changing good.
