I think the conditions of course weren't ideal, and whenever water is introduced to electronics, there is bound to be issues. Aside from that, was enjoyable to watch for me.

Much better than last week's... Good thing they had carts with the monsoon out there. Walking would have been miserable. They gutted it out and have a show.
Miller was amazing on MNF, he constantly made obscure references.I'm basing my opinion on production value. The banter was better than last week, but the broadcast was terrible. most of the on course shots were terrible angles and constantly paired with awful ambient noise. It was like they left the levels up on all the mics at the same time. Hire a decent mixer! The mere fact that the camera operators never bothered to wipe their lenses made it really nasty to watch.
There was barely any golf commentary, and personally, I think Trevor Immelman is the worst thing to happen to sports broadcasting since Dennis Miller on MNF. Charles Barkley, the other guy, and Ernie Johnson calling golf is like asking Joe Buck to do it while he's in a coma. IThe show would go on for minutes at a time with no words being spoken from either players or the guys in the booth. Instead we get to hear rain drops and grunting.
JT was the only guy who breathed any life into this thing, and he didn't get to say much.
It was like Turner put zero thought into how they were going to produce this. They just sent some guys out with cameras and mics and told them to hit broadcast. Pretty obvious that this was all about ad sales for Turner (I get how TV works, but this was very poorly executed.)
Oh Lord, I hated Miller on MNF. The funniest thing about it was watching and listening to the interplay between him and Dan Fouts. It was pretty obvious to me that Fouts didn't like him and was aggravated by him, I kept waiting to witness an epic meltdown on national TV in front of millions of viewers.Miller was amazing on MNF, he constantly made obscure references.

It wasn't really surprising considering that numerous guys have said that Tiger is a richard on the course when playing with them, and not very talkative. I thought the rest of them yukked up it pretty well and were amusing - even Brady, who I'm sure was pretty humiliated by his bad play. Barkley was great, I'd enjoy him being on more golf telecasts too.I was on the complete opposite. Other than a wet camera lens that needed to be wiped down, I think the production was great considering the weather elements in play.
The only negative I came away with is little to no Tiger banter, but sometimes you can lead a horse to water, doesn’t mean it’s going to drink.
i found the event relatable and showed how when the golfers are pressing or nervous, the banter goes away, just like some of the weekend rounds I’ve been a part of. I’m in no way comparing myself to the pros, but it was cool to see them get quiet and try to grind their way out of a bad swing or hole.
If they weren’t in carts, they would still be on 15 right now.Disagree. I enjoyed last week much more, and I think it had a lot to do with the carts. I think the use of carts created a separation and cut down on what potentially could have been much more interesting interaction between them. Last week I enjoyed seeing guys carrying their own bags and walking down the fairways together, bantering about. This felt more like two twosomes being paired up, when neither really wanted much to do with the other. Polite, but lacking somewhat in camaraderie. Hit a shot, hop in a cart, and race to the next shot...and still take 5+ hours to get it done.
Still enjoyed every minute of live golf again
I'm pretty sure that considering Tiger's history of back problems, there's not a chance he would have gone for walking 18 and carrying his own bag.If they weren’t in carts, they would still be on 15 right now.

Brady is such a competitor that I think his battle was with himself more than anything else. Dude hates to lose at anything. As much as Brady struggling was tough to watch and slowed down the match, it was the part that kept me engaged bc I wanted to see if he would continue to struggle or turn it around.
nerves seemed to be higher than I imagined given it was for charity and nothing more serious on the line.
I don’t disagree, so maybe allow caddies (or push carts) and still let them walk.I'm pretty sure that considering Tiger's history of back problems, there's not a chance he would have gone for walking 18 and carrying his own bag.

Well, he recently signed with the Bucs, so it’s understandable.Brady looked to be a bit nervous and embarrassed to me.
I think he knew going in that he was outgunned by everybody there, including Peyton. I imagine it's hard for somebody to be the elite of the elite in their sport, and go out there and look like the guy who always gets picked last in gym class.Brady looked to be a bit nervous and embarrassed to me.
his playing was like Matthew Wolfe trying to talk **** to Rory but better.I think he knew going in that he was outgunned by everybody there, including Peyton. I liked that they were able to weave the format and all the inner game features/bets together without it feeling too gimmicky. To me, they flowed well within the game and didn't take away from the actual play....I thought the format was fun with different ideas like the one club hole and small inner game bets. I wish they had a few more of those throughout the round....
That's pretty much what I meant. You have 3 guys in there, one is the token golf specialist (Trevor) yet he barely spoke. I felt that the only time he ever really talked about golf was when Barkley was leading him on. I would much rather hear the on-course banter, and the JT, Amanda Balionis stuff than whatever the basketball guys were talking about - same goes for Tirico. You know a lot more about all the production stuff than I do so I'll definitely defer to you on that level, but I actually liked that the announcers shut up and let us listen to the banter between the players. A big contrast from last weekend where Tirico ran his mouth nonstop and conducted boring, long-winded interviews which obscured the golf being played.
I thought it was absolute when he jarred that approach shot and smacked back at Barkley afterward.his playing was like Matthew Wolfe trying to talk **** to Rory but better.
Married to perhaps the greatest model of all time. Tough life.It is funny to me that Tom Brady is possibly the most unathletic future hall of fame athlete to ever live.. haha
Between the Players and the event last weekend, I've become totally anti-Tirico. He never bothered me before that, but he got on my nerves so hard during both of those, now I'm just instantly irritated as soon as I see his face or hear his voice. That's pretty much what I meant.
