The Movie Review Thread

She looked good in Blake Snake Moan too though and I guess since those came out around the same time that's how I was looking at it.

Edit: Tried to find a PG photo of her from that movie, it was tough.

Her Southern accent was TERRIBLE though. And the tattoo is unnecessary.

Plot: In one word, Horrible. Cartoonish villains and a hero you can't seem to get behind made this one nearly unwatchable for me.

Audio: The one shining spot in this title . The bass booms and the rears fire quite a bit with this one.

PQ: No problems with the picture quality at all. Looks like a Blu-Ray should.

Summary: If you like gratuitous violence and don't want to think much then this one is right up your alley. Renal at best.

I've been wanting to see that new Punisher, now it looks like I may just wait for it to hit cable. Speed Racer I wouldn't waste 2 seconds on.

I watched about 1/3rd of Delta Farce last night with Larry the cable guy, what a lousy movie.

I was debating on getting this on pay per view but after your recomendation I'll problely watch it tonight.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan

Three word review: Very.Not.Funny.

(Also, does Adam Sandler's contract with the Devil have a clause that requires Rob Schnieder to be in all of his movies?)

That was a horrible one.

Kung Fu Panda (in HD). WSE: Awesomeness. Wifey: zzzzzzzzzz.

I finally got around to seeing The Wrestler. I really liked it. Mickey Rourke was great and Marisa Tomei still looks awesome.

Am I the only one with the movie addiction? well watched Taken tonight. Had it forever and Im sorry I didnt watch it sooner. Qui-gon Jinn kicks ass in this movie!

Taken was a great movie, I loved it.

The Incredible Hulk

Liv Tyler has ever bigger lips than I remembered.

Ed Norton is a good actor, but Bruce Banner?

Uh, what happened to the Abomination's wiener? I mean, I'm assuming the Hulk wears pants because the gamma radiation didn't completely remove it.

Meh, it was pretty good for an action flick.

Taken was a great movie.

I just watched one of those movies that goes straight to 09 DVD, so bad! DO NOT WATCH!

It's called 18 year old virgin,

the ugliest girl ever wants to get in bed with some guy, only to find out he is gay, and he doesn't wanna get with her because she is a virgin, so she goes around this party sleeping with other guys, and she winds up in stupid situations each time, its so stupid and terrible. did i mention the girl is not hot either.

Btw it wasn't a porno.

So it doesn't even have that going for it.

Saw Wolverine. Not bad at all. Much better than the X-men and Fantastic Four movies.

This is funny, but I love the popular appeal of these movies for an entirely different reason: when I was a kid, among other comics I religiously collected all the X-men and X-men derivative comics. I've got mint copies of X-Men 94, 95, then like 110 through 200 or so, basically from dark phoenix through silly kitty pride. Plus the original 4-episode Wolverine series. Plus Hulk #150 and 151, which is the first ever comic with Wolverine in it. I actually haven't checked the value of any of these in like 10 years, but I have this theory that these movies will help move the market on them further up (although if I never sell them, I suppose they're not really worth anything).

I saw "Good Luck Chuck" the other night.

Spoiler
It's funny. Kind of a turn-your-brain-off humor. Lots of boobs, Jessica Alba in her panties and other assorted silliness. Probably not much appeal to the gals, but guys will laugh plenty.

WSE, That is funny. I did the exact same thing when I was a kid. I also have those X-men comics individually wrapped as well.I haven't looked at them in years.
