The Truth behind the Covid Virus.....It's a long watch but worth it.....

I’m not going to watch this or speculate on theories, time will sort it out, it always does.
One obvious fact that has been brought to the fore by this event is that we all breathe shared air.

Conspiracy theory at this point. One I may believe but still at this point I don’t think it’s proven. I don’t doubt this theory but I’m far from calling it a fact at this point.

60 Minutes Australia did a piece on the COVID 19 research being done at the facilities in Wuhan and discussed the likelihood that the virus escaped the lab due to proceedures not being followed properly. 60 Minutes is rarely considered to be a conspiracy theory outlet or alternative facts medium.

I’d like to think the original poster for sharing an alternate view point, that is what normal discord is supposed to be.

Although the context leads me to believe you intended to type discourse, I also think this statement is amazingly accurate as written.

Let’s add this...Operation Mockingbird

Why in the name of the Almighty would we need to engineer a virus for human to human transmission? Don't we already have enough ways to kill ourselves?
Because that's what evil people do. Ever heard of the horrible stuff from all the way back to WW1 and beyond? Anthrax mutation? Why did I have to train in chem gear for over 20 years in the AF?
I am going to guess "truth" is used rather liberally here...
You never disappoint
Do a Google search for Epoch Times and you'll see this video is probably fake news/propaganda. When the words, "Conservatism, anti-communism, anti-socialism, anti-Chinese and right-wing populism" are used to describe it, be very skeptical.
same theory; CNN is Progressive, anti-freedom, anti-capitalist, leftist, and pro-chinese. So what makes one news more viable than the other. I thought this piece was well researched. They didn't just say unnamed sources like msm, they showed the damn documents.

I don't know why they made it, or whether it was in response to our country's trade deal or to stop the protests in Hong Kong. It was without a doubt manufactured, and some of the work was being done here in the states.

Googling anything related to "Epoch Times" and that tells me enough I need to know without watching this video.
And yet each day more facts come out pointing to this story by Epoch is the truth......……………………...……………..

I read thru the entire complaint you linked. While I completely agree with their prosecution to the fullest extent if they are guilty, what does the complaint have to do with Covid 19 work "being done here in the states"? The American is a nanoscientist who is accused of not disclosing links to the Chinese thousand talents program. The woman was tracking military scientists dealing with robotics technology. The 3rd guy stole vials of cancer cells for research that he intended to further and take credit for. I'm not sure the word "virus' appears in the whole document, but maybe I missed it?

Do they?? :confused2: I'll hold off, I'm not as certain as you are.

Only things I'm particularly sure on. They were working on learning more about this virus in a lab. Shotty safety precautions lead to this getting out (probably the guy didn't wash his hands, in the most ironic of ways) and it spread from there. I don't think it was a biological weapon, I don't think it was done on purpose. But, I do think they tried to cover it up like oh yeah no big deal we got this we got thi...ruh roh.

I’ve watched about half of this and is interesting if true. Hard not to believe that it couldn’t happen.

I think that news pieces - even when presented in documentary form - should avoid using mood music. It’s an indication. And it’s unfortunate here, IMO, because my hunch is there is a lot of there there with this story.

I respect alternate viewpoints. I don't respect outrageous conspiracy theories with no basis in fact.
But now Fox News is reporting that the official story isn’t correct... A lot of “conspiracy theories” are later proven to be fact.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/co...pete-us-sources.amp?__twitter_impression=true

“Documents detail early efforts by doctors at the lab and early efforts at containment. The Wuhan wet market initially identified as a possible point of origin never sold bats, and the sources tell Fox News that blaming the wet market was an effort by China to deflect blame from the laboratory, along with the country's propaganda efforts targeting the U.S. and Italy.”

China lied... Shocker. China lied, there is your fact basis for this theory.

As always, think critically look at all of the available information, and connect your own dots, but sadly most just believe whatever is spoon fed them by CNN.

Wasn’t the theory that bats were thought to be the original host, but that the virus was transmitted to humans through an intermediary host?

I guess we will see when the documents that are mentioned in the article I linked are posted.

I’m conflicted right now, it feels like we’re fighting so many different battles. Where did it come from, how did it spread, how do we mitigate the damage now that it’s here. It’s above my pay grade, but I like to think we have enough brilliant people out there on our side who are working on solutions.

It's plausible. They've had problems in the past, most likely because of poor training.

Was it manufactured? The science (based on sequencing a number of viral isolates) is pretty certain that it was not. We know to "never say never", but it's extremely unlikely. The more plausible scenario is, as mentioned, a naturally occuring isolate brought into the lab for study, and some fool not taking proper precautions and walking out of the lab with it, either as an infected, or infecting someone else who came into contact with their things.
It also could have been a zoonotic transmission, outside of any governmental lab. Time will tell.

Fact of the matter is, when humans reside in close proximity to animals in high densities (both animals and humans) the likelihood of these things occuring increases. This isn't the first time something like this happened, and unless we take strong measures to prevent it, it'll happen again.

Think we're agreeing and saying the same thing sir.
