All shafts made for UST is made in Bangladesh. over 60,000,000 shafts have been made since 1990.

60M shafts is just an insane amount.
 
Their facility also makes a ton of other stuff like arrows and can do machining plating etc.

crazy that UST started out making fishing rods.

they now do arrows as well for a couple of companies.

The UST super 39 started the lightweight movement. First made in 1995 and was the first playable shaft under 40 grams.
 
Lightweight shafts designed for more speed but there are limits to how lite you can go before the shaft becomes unstable - sub 30's

1st counterbalanced wood shaft in 96 the IT series. Bringing heft towards the butt end to reduce overall swing weight
