What cigar did you smoke today?

I don't know what that is, but it was some guy that need to shave and had some of those big circles in his ears. Nice guy. He let me borrow his bottle opener a few times.

Thats him.

Tonight is a LGC Serie R with some Bushmills 21.

As I went to pull a cheapo Black and Mild out of my bag after I got my first birdie of the day (a self imposed rule), one of the two guys me and a buddy got paired up with said "wait, I'll trade you". He then pulled a Bolivar something or other out of his bag that he said had been in his humidor for a few years and handed it to me. I know nothing about cigars but apparently this is considered a good one. I asked him if he really wanted my Black and Mild. He said "yeah, it took him back to his younger days" so I enjoyed the rather large and quite flavorful Bolivar and he enjoyed his trip down memory lane on a beautiful fall day on a awesome course in Central Illinois called Metamora Fields.

I've never been a big fan of joining up with golfers I don't know, I really need to get over that because sometimes you just meet the coolest folks.

Nothing smoked this weekend, but my cousin just got back from Cuba (ah, to be Canadian and not worry about that disaster of a foreign policy), and he got me a box of M.C. #4s. He laughed saying he was going to get me #2s but they were 3x the price! even better, he won on his football bet today so is going to mail them to me so I don't have to wait until we visit at xmas. Looking forward to one in two weeks once I let them settle in to my humidor :)

Enjoyed what could be the last really nice day on my deck with some cold beer and an Alec Bradley Presnado. Celebrating some good news that isnt official yet, but will be a huge thing in my life when its confirmed. Stay tuned.

Had a TAA Exclusive Air Bender Maduro with Litto Gomez last night, life is good!

That is a great night. The Airbender is in my top 5 favorites. Plus smoking with Litto Gomez is ultra cool.

Enjoying an oliva inferno right now. Really like these.

Been enjoying Padron 3000 lately and I need to get some more...had several over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Had one last week when I played from a small shop in St. Augustine call JC Rollers. It was their red label blend, nice and mild, but burned quick.

ex-pat that lives in Honduras so i get to smoke some nice cigars here.....

BONUS... i met and married by wife here. Not only was she a hottie..... her family used to grow tobacco and when she was a girl she used to roll cigars for her dad..... so she makes cigars for me...

She rolls the cigar in a rustic slim style. Cigarillo style....about 3.5 - 4 inches long my dad is italian and smokes the same type of cigar and loves it....

if anyone is curious to trying one... let me know and next time im in the states... id be happy to mail one...ill be jan 2013...

we dont sell them or anything...just happy to share with any golfing cigar fans out there...

Gurkha 125th Anniversary

Pretty mellow so far.

I do not smoke anymore as I use to smoke cigars and cigs when I was a teenager from maybe 15 to 19 and quit and never looked back, but I live in a huge italian area where people dip their cigars in cognac and smoke them and say they get so buzzed from it.....I mean your smoking alcohol....does anyone do that?

Quit ducking me Jrod.

Our foursome played the week before Christmas. As usual, prior to teeing off we each put one cigar in the other's cart - the result being we usually have three different cigars to smoke during the round. I put the three that I got into the golf humi (tupperware), and only after I got home did I notice that one of the guys quietly slipped in a Montecristo Cuban! I know who did it - a very generous gesture!

Golf buddies are GREAT!

Very nice. Forum member yorkem shared a Cuban with me in Myrtle Beach and I enjoyed it very much.

Just finished a La Flor Dominicana Air Bender walking the beach at Myrtle while drinking several Yuengling Black and Tans. This is after playing 36 holes. A VERY GOOD DAY!

I could get used to doing this.

I can smell it from here MH. mmmm. La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor torpedo today on the front nine and My UZI weighs a ton 7 60 on the back.

Padron 1964 Exclusivo Maduro. So good I am going to have to buy another box.

Playing this Monday, and can't wait for the golf, and to have a couple of cigars. I only smoke cigars while playing golf, so its been weeks since I've had a cigar.

I've got absolutely nothing "great" in the humi, but will enjoy a couple of Nicaraguan salamons I got in a bundle over the Winter - and I will enjoy them.

didn't smoke today and actually don't smoke much anymore, but I've been a big cigar enthusiast since the mid-90s. Traditionally, I like Cameroon wrappers a lot, although they're tough to find anymore. I like a lot of the Padrons and Fuentes. Cuban-wise, Montecristo #2 is probably my all time favorite cigar, but I really like some of the Cohibas and I have a box of Hoyo de Monterey Double Coronas that are pretty epic as well.

Flor de las Antillas Toro with a scotch sitting on my terrace listening to all this snow melt off the roof!

Alec Bradley Family Blend sitting on my porch wishing all the snow would melt so I can golf tomorrow. I really like all of his cigars but this one and the Prensado are excellent.
